Went to Hersheypark recently, 2nd to last day before Wildcat closed. The park was absolutely packed! I’ll provide notes on a few creds here:
Wildcat: I’ll be honest, I will miss this ride. Always had a soft spot for it. Obviously, an RMC renovation will likely be far superior to the old woodie...
What about this; the amazing looking (and uncreatively named) Wood Coaster at Knight Valley in China… with the second best coaster being seemingly no coaster at all?

An inversion with no hangtime or whip may as well just be a turn. I wanna feel the fact I’m upside down. Or at LEAST get cranked around while going through the element’s transition
The “stall loop” is such an awesome, yet sorta obvious idea I’m surprised it has taken this long to do. You’d think a loop/dive loop/immelman etc with an elongated upside down section would have been done before the stall itself
Not sure how long it was like this, but I remember last time I rode El Toro the brakes engaged and disengaged crazy loud. That and SV’s anti-rollback on the lift are the single loudest noises I’ve heard
This is obviously anti-B&M bias, but I also cannot think of another actual reason: it’s because they’re kinda lame and would rather play it safe than do anything truly cool
The finale (everything after the stall) is unimpressive, but otherwise I think the layout will pack plenty of punch. The whippy transitions into the death roll and the outerbank over the station will probably be the best moments.
