That's actually wrong. The roller coaster Balder is named after Balder's pasture, a horse pasture that used to be on the site where the roller coaster is today. The famous soccer team and sports association Örgryte IS was formed on Balders pasture in 1887. That's also why one of Balder's trains...
This might sound boring but I dont think we will see much more from EL in the next years. The tilt coaster + eventual area would probably come 2025 earliest. Then Energylandia have essentially succeeded in establishing themselves as one of Europe's premier parks. With that, they will try to...
We enthusiasts go around hating on these rides and compare them to permanent well done ride installations. What some of us fail to realise is that the option is not traveling rides vs permenet rides but rather traveling rides vs nothing. Instead ask yourself the question: Would you rather have...
That's my main grudge with Europa Park. Some of their areas are there just for the sake of them being there instead actually making something immersive like Phantasialand do. It just makes Europa Park seem like a quality before quantity sort of place when it comes to theming areas.
To me that looks like a very careful removal, not like something going to be scrapped.
We might see this ride turn up somewhere else, maybe even shortened a bit to not turn up the fanfare of it being the tallest in the world and thereby it's tragic history exposed to the gp.
Regarding going to...
I really hate camping in tents and honestly don't understand it at all. My home has all the creature comforts, why would I consciously downgrade my standard of living to a tent and enjoy it. It just makes no sense. I understand living in a tent if that is the best you can have, for example some...
Totally agree! Statistics was absolutely horrible and utterly useless for what I am studying. We would just calculate a bunch of random stuff and do statistics programming and all that. There was really no point to learn that. Im also not a big fan of math lecturers, they are so different from...
I used to visit this park multiple times a year during my childhood. Really loved it! Especially the fantastic bob run and chocolate factory. Really excited to see them invest again. Hopefully a new coaster will be next.
Havnt done Croc drop. But Mystery Castle actually involves freefall drops in all three programs. Program 2 even has 2 freefall drops. While all programs also have shoot down sequences. That's what I love with Mystery castle, you can feel both natural freefalls and forced shoot downs in the same...
Before "becoming an enthusiast" I used to wait a lot longer for rides. I remember doing a 2 hour wait for Lisebergsbanan in 2010. I was with friends and it didnt bother me back then. Nowadays, I always have a strategy when visiting theme parks. Firstly, I always try to visit on the least busy...
This is a project of absolute national importance. This park will stay open as long as their regime stays in power. It's a lot more serious than Ankapark ever was. With that said, I doubt it will ever turn a profit and certainly never break even on it's massive construction cost but it's part of...
These experiences are not competitive with each other, probably not even complementary with each other. Having a maze in London does not in any way mean that they shouldn't have a theme park in Spain.
I would still take it with a grain of salt that Universal are interested in PA. They sold it...
