For dark rides I have done, I have to give it to I Corsari at Gardaland. It's a massive dark ride with practical effects (only rode it pre last year's refurbishment). Very under rated and hard to find ride!

I personally think night time shows whether with or without fireworks really improve parks e.g. Alton towers fireworks or fiestaventura. They make you have a nice feeling at the end of the day where you would have otherwise been exhausted from queues, tiredness and cold.

Inferno goes from meh to wow that's intense from day to night

Nemesis Inferno at night runs very intensely and 2 consecutive rides on it (stayed on the same train but did front and back row) was a bit much for me.

I may be coming to towers for the Sunday (not 100% sure). I haven't been for 3 years so my focus will be riding as much as possible.
