1. Helix, both airtime hills near Lisebergbanan's lift (going over and under the lift)
2. Junker's tophat
3. Expedition GeForce, first drop and first airtime hill
4. Piraten's 2nd twist hill
5. Thundercoaster's 2nd drop
6. Balder's first drop in the back

Re: Top 10(ish): 2015 Edition - page 27
Wow chill out dudes :P It's just that while Balder has a great first drop and plenty of airtime, I kinda find the layout repetitive and uninspiring. It's still probably my favourite woodie so far and could very well be the #11 (haven't thought about...
Last Saturday I got to test Junker and I got to say: Tornado has been de-throned as Finland's best rollercoaster (finally after so many years)!
The rolling launch has a nice punch and tophat is filled with ejector airtime. The first hill before the non-inverting dive-loop-thingy-lingy provides...
We have a tophat!

They are really working hard: a bunch of new supports and a little bit of track have gone up in just a couple of days! I must say Junker is looking better every day, I didn't expect the double-loop around the Kwai-bridge to be so high
I saw there was a thread for this in the News & Rumours but I thought as this is now officially confirmed and construction is already vertical, I'd give it a thread here as well.

Here's a rough translation of the press release from...
Pikajuna - Linnanmäki
This MACK powered coaster was the first major ride I got to operate while working at Linnanmäki. I was super excited! Did you know that its speed is controlled manually by the ride-op during the ride? And that it's also braked and stopped totally manually? It was kinda...

Local news
"Linnanmäki will have a new more wilder roller coaster. The ride has already been planned for five years, but so far the project has only been in the wind, because it is considered to modify too much of the cityscape.
Now the new Sky Loop ride...
So true.
Insane is also on my list.
Boomerangs. Heck, they DO go backwards and forwards. I think it's cool.
Lisebergbanan. Unbelievable customized layout, one of the best ever.
Poseidon. Kinda meh ride, but it still transforms from a rollercoaster to a boat ride.
Mack Bobsled. No...
1) Hurakan Condor - Port Aventura & Fritt Fall (+Tilt) - Gröna Lund
2) Uppswinget - Liseberg
3) Gravitron - Suomen Tivoli
4) Pegasus - Power Park
5) Booster - Power Park
Good to hear you like it, I like it too! The location will be between the main entrance and the wooden rollercoaster Vuoristorata. Right where the octopus ride used to be. Now it has been moved to a new area, where a new ride will debut when they'll first finish building it. There's a rumor...
Trackwork nearing completion (if not already completed). Pics behind this link.
I must say I'm excited! :--D Too bad I can't ride it on the opening day (April 30th), but ASAP I'll go there.
UPDATE!!!
First things first. The coaster now has a name: MotoGee (pronounced like MotoG as in MotoGP).
Secondly, vertical contruction has begun. Here's a link to the finnish forum. The link below the pic leads to more images. As can be seen from the pic, track will be black (sexy :Pr ) and...
The little mini bumps in the middle of this Pinfari ride. They look just...too akward to be real. As if the designer was high or something when drawing this:

Also, anything from PAX Company...

Ridewise the only new thing is the Zamperla Motocoaster at Särkänniemi. Not too excited though...
But what I'm really waiting for is Linnanmäki to open and thus my work to begin! Last summer was awesome and I hope this one will be at least as good one, because now I have a friend working...
