Europa Park | Piraten in Batavia Rebuild | 2020

My only gripe with this ride is its use of garish coloured lighting, other than that it looks great.

Chessington World Of Adventures | Croc Drop | Zamperla Sky (Drop) Tower

ABC do some pretty nifty drops, Fabbri do some nice family drop rides too. SBF.... Not so much.

Chessington World Of Adventures | Croc Drop | Zamperla Sky (Drop) Tower

The park takes this much time to create real nice theming for them only to deliver some crappy SBF hardware. Brilliant..

Attractions.io are good lads. Small firm up north, but super solid team. I know a couple people up there, so if I get any tidbits, I'll report back if I'm allowed.

The first UK RMC; where will it happen?

Billy big balls piping up here.. I think the obvious park would be Thorpe Park, but considering Merlin's just had a buyout, who know if they're even going to keep their parks?

Chessington World Of Adventures Have Revealed Elmer's Flying Jumbos In 2020

Oh shut up Merlin... First you want to turn Chessington into a safari branded park, and now you want pop-culture stories? Go away management, you're drunk.

Efteling | Symbolica | ETF Rides Trackless Dark Ride

And to think this thing cost over 35 million quid to build and Derren Brown cost something similar and yet look how big of a flop that was... Just goes to show what you can really do if you have the right team together.

Accident at Ohio State Fair- 1 dead, 7 injured

In the UK, ADIPS (being the strictest regulators) require park and fair operators to pass their weld joints through UV detection. A reactive spray is applied on welds or high stress points and the tests are carried out. Similar methods are required by TUV, who govern the rest of Europe.

    Why build a vekoma?

Technically, Vekoma are one of the most robust and flexible manufacturers of coasters. Who knows what happened with JO It was most likely presented to many manufacturers and most said no and Vekoma just happened to deliver what the park wanted? I personally think it's a case of who could deliver.

Olympia-Looping at London's German Christmas Market

^ If it's TUV approved, then yes, it'll be fine as it covers all of Europe.

Tayto Park | Viking Voyage | Interlink Super Flume

I know Tayto is a massive brand and everything, but where has this sudden injection of cash come from?

PortAventura | Ferrari Land | New Area

I do personally think that one of the reason why we hate this new coaster so much is the fact that we got an inferior product to what has been constructed for the rest of the world. It wouldn't be so much of an eyesore had we got something more substantial, with the cable launch technology we...

Thorpe Park | Derren Brown's Ghost Train | VR Attraction

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train (WC16) | Thorpe Park | May 2 The price for a HTC Vive in the commercial world is around 300 quid a pop, whereas I believe in the consumer world, they're about 950 quid a pop. It's the media that costs the most, hence why we saw some seriously shoddy work on...
