I personally loved Sub-Terra and it makes sense to give some capacity in that area of the park when Nemesis is closed. It wouldn't take to much effort to tweak the storyline and have it run for a couple of years whilst the hype around Nemesis is still there.
It certainly looks credible with all...
After seeing it in person on Sunday, it feels quite lazy as far as new attraction marketing goes. It just seems so generic, and they could have really had some fun with it. Feels like a bit of the rest of the resort at the moment, churn it out and get home.
In my opinion (for what it's worth - which isn't much), I think that it would involve a retheme of Edge and Cobra and Magma, and then perhaps an enclosed dark ride or similar.
They've had big issues in that area with noise, I'm 20 mins down the road and the battle was on the local news at...
I think it will look a lot better when the plants have settled in. I think it looks a bit un-inspiring in comparison to the editions they've had over the past few years, but it's a great looking family coaster so should tick the box for younger guests - and who doesn't love dinosaurs.
It looks gorgeous, they've done a seriously good job.
When Tiger Falls at Chessington finally kicks the bucket, something like this would be a great replacement.
I can't help but feel this was a huge wasted opportunity to upgrade an ageing roller coaster with something new. It's pretty unremarkable as a ride, and they could have pulled something really impressive out the bag, just seems like a bit waste of capital expenditure.
You're basically sticking...
I'm a sucker for the entire experience of F.L.Y, and although Taron is a fantastic roller coaster, the first time I rode F.L.Y was spectacular as you didn't know what to expect (can't watch POV's etc). For me it's my number 1 as I love the whole experience from start to finish 😍
€20million should get a fairly decent experience, as they won't be having 'build' the actual building it's going into as that's already there. Although I'm sure the ride system will be taking a fair chunk of that budget (as well as IP costs), there should still be a good chunk for themeing...
This place is seriously stunning, it would be an absolute travesty if it wasn't able to open. The amount of effort that's gone into the theming alone is jaw dropping.
It looks a great addition for families, and will give that entire area some cohesion which I think it always needed. I'm not the target audience, and it's certainly not something I would rush back for, but with their other lineup of coasters, it will fit perfectly.
I think whatever it is, it's going to be a 'safer' bet. They've been burnt with the likes of DBGT and other 'out there' investments and not seen the return. I think the most plausible outcome will be a slightly more thrilling GCI than Wickerman, but still with a 1.2 or 1.3 restriction, giving...
Okay... is it time to start getting a little bit excited yet?

It appears that Loggers Leap has started to be removed, and it certainly looks like more than just a bit of felling if you ask me...
