It appears that a small building has taken shape on top of the tunnel. Presuming that the existing larger building will serve as the shop, I would hazard a guess that guests may exit through this building to view their ORPs.

I'm sure the ride is capable of opening without the new restaurant if needed. In terms of what's left to do, it's just landscaping/a bit of theming, queue line, exit and ride entrance. It shouldn't take too long.
