If they really want records then track length & inversions is probably the way to go. I hope it's airtime focused though to be honest, the park needs it.
Most parks on the report don't release their figures. The report is educated guesswork, that's why it should always be taken with a pinch of salt.
They messed up their figures with the SeaWorld parks in Florida last year for example.
I mean, Infinity Falls opened at SeaWorld Orlando a couple of months ago and it has proven to be very popular despite missing the hot summer season so there definitely is a demand for new water rides in theme parks.
Mack launch coasters are not intense, anyone expecting great intensity will be dissapointed. I think that's why Icon got mixed reviews from some who were expecting it to be intense. They are fun, smooth, comfortable & floaty.
There is a crane on site in the picture, that's new and is a pretty significant development. Although the image is too grainy to make out what is on the crane, it matches up with all the recent talk that RMC will begin work very soon, possibly in the next few days.
My bet would be we will start to see work after Howl-O-Scream has finished using Gwazi's area. This is a big job, regardless of whether or not they use both sides in the conversion they still need to demolish/refurbish a heck of a lot of wood so I would imagine it will be a longer process than...
