    Flamingo Land | Sik | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2022

When they say that £20m is the total project cost, that may include the purchase of the ride, planning application costs, groundwork costs, coaster construction costs, staff training costs, marketing budget for the ride and any theming that is planned. So a lot more than the ride itself.

Michigan's Adventure closing Be-Bop Boulevard (Antique Cars) on August 11!

The thing is, Cedar Fair can't just not invest in Michigan's Adventure forever. Coasters (especially steel) have service lives and at some point will need to be replaced or retracked at great cost. As has been pointed out the youngest coaster at this park is over 2 decades old, there needs to be...

Busch Gardens Tampa | Iron Gwazi | RMC Gwazi | 2022

Don't think anyone was demanding any announcements haha, just curious as how they work timings out as someone who's followed the company for years and years it's really random.

Busch Gardens Tampa | Iron Gwazi | RMC Gwazi | 2022

But they've announced Pantheon during the summer, so it's not really that obvious how they decide. The whole company seems to be quite erratic when it comes to attraction announcements. With Six Flags/Cedar Fair you know it's generally going to be Aug/Sept but with SeaWorld it is much less clear.

Busch Gardens Tampa | Iron Gwazi | RMC Gwazi | 2022

Perhaps, still they announced Infinity Falls for SWO in April 2017 yet here we are in August 2019 still waiting for 2020 news. I'd be interested in knowing their thought process, maybe it's to do with how much nearby competitiors have to announce.

Busch Gardens Tampa | Iron Gwazi | RMC Gwazi | 2022

I struggle to figure out how SeaWorld decide when to announce new projects. For example they have announced projects like Electric Eel in January 2017 for a summer 2018 opening whilst Tigris was only announced in September 2018 for a spring 2019 opening. If speculation on the Inside Universal...

Busch Gardens Williamsburg Project 2021 - 355ft Height Waiver Filed

I'm thinking differently about what a so called "slender lattice" structure could be referring to now....

Sea World San Antonio | Texas Stingray | Wooden Coaster

On Friday I managed to get a video of the site from the employee side which hasn't been seen in construction updates so far, apologies for the dodgy filming!

Kings Island | Orion | B&M Giga Coaster

Really? I'll discount RMC Gwazi because I'm 15 mins away and biased, but rides like Zadra, FLY and BGW 2020 are all more anticipated for me at least.

The station, turnaround before the spiral inversion, the next turnaround, wave turn and final few elements are using old wood.

Alton Towers and Thorpe Park Rumoured To Get Lego Themed Areas For 2020

Ah yes, a new lego themed area right next to the new dungeons. I can picture it now....

Sea World San Antonio | Texas Stingray | Wooden Coaster

^Doubt this will be used for SWO 2020. They have teased an Arctic theme.

Another update below. Whilst it may seem like slow progress, it is worth remembering that Florida is the inverse of most places in terms of construction. In most places harsh winter weather slows progress whilst good summer weather allows for lots of progress. In places like Florida daily summer...
