By the way, Superman is running both new trains now. No more U-bricks.
Still, sitting in the back will cause your knees to hit a plastic cover occasionally if you’re tall.
Batwing area is “temporarily” closed.
So, the drop was good, especially in the back row. Not amazing, but really good. For some reason it felt “short”, but that is 100% me because there is no drop longer than this one.
The high speed part grew a bit on me, but it still lacks the insanity of Formula Rossa. I am still quite unsure...
Let’s the how this ages over the next couple of days.
Just had my first ride on Fury 325 (front row) and I got to say: It is boring and the online highlight are the 2 small airtime hills towards the end. The first 2/3 of the ride is just full of it doing nothing at all.
They are horrible, pure torture, and should be torn down. They are all bottom tier with a few exceptions:
Mayan and Jaguar have the best restraints and are therefore a tiny bit less bad.
Condor is bottom of the bottom tier, even with new trains.
RMC has the worst restraints or maybe even trains out there. Yes, even worse than the Volare cages.
Why?
Firstly, the shin guards. If you are tall, those will constantly push into your shins, even with some wiggle room on your thighs. Every single airtime pop will then result in in full impact...
Using this argument, the RMC restraints themselves seem to be designed by some medieval torture master. Being tall, the shin guards hit me on every single airtime pop so I often have bruises in my shins.
To be fair, Premier Rides isn’t that much better.
That was meant for the Monorail that never came to fruition.
The building below was originally intended for a Screen base shooter darkride like Toy Story mania. As far is I know, the building is now only used during Halloween for a maze and winter for an ice skating rink.
Rita is nothing Special, but it is fast and intense. Especially the intensity is something newer rides lack a bit, they are just a bit more toned down compared to the older ones.
But with us talking about Merlin, my bet is it being replaced with a Revonchon spinning wild mouse.
Please no, Zamperla has impressively proven that they’re not capable of doing anything on a large scale. If TT2 proves one thing, then that Zamperla is the wrong company to go with.
Intamin should be able to handle it (technically, even with ease as the cars do have 2 rows of magnets). But even...
They haven’t done much about it for 9 years (god, I’m getting old), don’t expect them to do anything now.
To be fair, I believe the issue isn’t that easy to solve as Klugheim is a fair bit below ground level and to get rid of the smell they might have to redo all the sewage pipes going through...
That’s for immersion. The Middle Ages stank like sewage, so they deliberately let eu de sewage enhance the queue experience. The part under the bridge at the beginning of the queue is also prone to sewage smell, as well as the tunnel under Kornmüller. Didn’t you learn your lesson from Intoxicator?
I have to say, I found it to be more thought provoking than anything else. It certainly has a level of sadism to it (starting with the way the waiting room works), but most of all it just got me thinking of what happens afterwards. Most of it wasn’t really sadistic but explanatory in my opinion.
Please let it be open in May, please let it be open in May….
Glad I included this one in my tour this year, now it’s all about hoping to get all the creds.
But gosh, they really try to save some money. But maybe, just maybe, the park would draw more crowds if you invested something in the last...
Any Vekoma SLC, Volare, RCCA coaster and of course the „Family-Thrill“ coaster Tornado. At least from an enthusiast standpoint.
However (except for Tornado), i don’t think that they were meant to be sadistic, they just turned out to be.
I forgot how they’re called, but the Intamin drop towers...
The Figure 8 Intamin Accelerators are a good candidate for me, especially Superman in Australia.
Wodan also packs a lot into a Short duration.
When it comes to fun per m of track, Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loops would like a word.
I figured it might be good to simply ask, and their support was really quick:
Tl:dr: it doesn’t matter where you use it first
