Nice report! I'm surprised that it was this much more crowded for you than what I experienced 5 years ago, especially as all of the reports of rides going SBNO made me believe they were not doing well. Granted, I visited during the widely publicized protests that likely kept most tourists away...
Oh, the joy, Warner Bros. Movie World is sitting comfortably near the bottom of my park rank list, purely due to their abysmal operations and asinine policies. When we went, the lockers for Superman were even a 1 AUD upcharge and they wouldn't let us in the queue with our glasses on. I found it...
Interesting, I don't remember that being a thing in 2017. Both me and my dad wear glasses (we usually take them off for the big rides) and we didn't have any issues wearing them wherever we wanted.
Fun reports so far, keep them coming!
I love how someone needed to ask them if the world's tallest drop tower is indeed gone, while the run-off-the-mill parachutes and top spin rides made the announcement.
Their PR team is quite something, huh?
The odd thing is that they've seemingly discontinued every other product in favor of one type of attraction that never really took off.
I gotta admit that Desmo Race in Mirabilandia was quite fun, though it's still a product that's plagued by both poor capacity (I guess the full train models...
There's still a couple of months left to the year, but I don't really have any more trips planned, so here's the sum-up of what we've done here.
Coaster count at start of 2024: 374
Coaster count at end of 2024: 411
Coaster count increase: 37 (one of the better ones, this)
Park count at start of...
I would argue that women (and their fetuses) dying due to lack of proper care that the anti-abortion laws block them from getting is more of a murder than what you're describing, though.
I feel proud to live in a country that women from other more conservative EU countries come to when their...
I just noticed that I haven't posted anything in here for the past 14 months. Since my last top that I posted just as I got back from my first trip to Poland, I re-visited Phantasialand in November 2023 on an empty weekday just before Wintertraum, went to Fantasiana and Europa Park on our EURO...
Did something a couple of days ago
100 - Karacho, Tripsdrill
200 - Taron, Phantasialand
300 - Hair Raiser, Ocean Park
400 - Batman Gotham City Escape, Parque Warner Madrid
An absolutely amazing coaster, easily one of the best in Europe. The first launch is slow but incredibly punchy. The...
Also a word of warning for anyone that's planning to go. The seatbelts on Wild Train are fairly restrictive and they won't let you ride if you're unable to close them. The person I was with is not particularly big and never had any problems anywhere else, but he just barely managed to close the...
Been a couple of years since I last posted in here. Not much has changed, but I managed to grab 15 rides on a rainy October 2022 Saturday on Wildfire in Kolmarden and 14 on a rainy November weekday on Taron.
Kolmarden is not particularly surprising, as Wildfire never gets super long queues, but...
Movieland Studios park in Italy is closing their U-571 submarine simulator tomorrow.

Yeah, I've ridden this at the same place at around this time last year. A very janky coaster that ended up being a surprise +1 for us too when we spotted it from the castle.
Yeah, I have no idea. Ride to Happiness is my favorite coaster and I could spend hours reriding it, while I had enough of Voltron after a couple of rides in relatively quick succession (courtesy of using mine and mum's virtual lines). Brilliant ride, but the bouncing just made me feel sick.
