Re: Alton Towers | The Smiler | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1
I don't know if anyone's already mentioned this, and I'm not going to read 300 pages to find out, but if any of you have watched the promotional video AT did with some bloke from JLS I'd gamble that the music in the background will be...
I thought it would be a nice idea to try to bring together a collection of theme park-related comedy the enthusiast's pleasure. I'd imagine that this will become a fairly image-intensive thread so, be warned. Please post sources when/where appropriate.
Here are some I've found to start off...
I've been trying to find pictures of the spot that California Adventure is in from before it was built, but it's proving rather difficult, am I right in thinking it was just a lake?
If anybody could assist me it would be greatly appreciated.
The whole Scarefest 2012 lineup is exactly the same as last year with exception to 'The Boiler House', which has been replaced by 'The Sanctuary. However, the ticket/booking system has been altered in a way that allows cheaper maze entry at earlier parts of the day, and individual maze tickets...
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown (Gestlauer?) World's 1st
I went last weekend and from the Enterprise queue you can see a small building which was mid-construction when we visited. No photos but if anyone's down there with a camera be aware that you need to enter Enterprises queue to see it...

Pretty much anything with a build up for the climbhill (assuming that there is...
My brother is trying to find videos of coasters stalling, he already has videos of TTD, Stealth and Hades but was struggling to find anymore. Videos of the coasters actually not making it around the track, rather than videos of the trains already stalled, etc would be fantastic.
Thanks a lot :--D
Re: Wallace & Gromit Confirmed For Pleasure Beach
No, he's saying that Infusion wasn't a major development, which it wasn't. No matter how much they tried to flog it off as one.
Re: Rollercoasters that you wanted to ride, but got dismantl
I'd have loved to have gone on Windjammer at Knott's simply because of how terrible everyone says it is.
I know my brother wears contact lenses pretty much every time we go to a theme park and has done for a very long time. He only ever lost one once on Space Mountain at Disneyland. So it does happen, but please keep in mind that this was one occasion out of hundreds that were fine.
