How is it a race? They literally announced the 17th May months a go. On some of their printed materials it even says "uks first". No 'race' or even attempt at all.

The fact they've managed to keep it so quiet is both impressive and refreshing. I wonder I'd they'll reveal it at thr next SuperFans event?

It's probably worth mentioning that the area fenced off for viking construction is huge so will be significantly more than just a cobra retheme

Whilst not confirmed, the logo did deliberately turn 180 and finish upside-down... so either a coaster with inversions or a flat that goes over surely?

Considering Paultons do zero discounts or '2for1' and their season ticket price is high, i would suggest to still achieve 1million annually makes them a major player... especially considering their location. If merlin knocked out every discount and pushed their annual pass prices to what...

This!!!! I honestly think us enthusiasts forget that Parks don't build rides for us... they build them for the 99% of visitors who are actually non-enthusiasts. For those guests who maybe don't go to many Parks, a custom coaster means nothing. Paultons could build a powered mine train ride...

Not Merlin's fault but apparently the M25 is also closed this weekend. Not a great day to go unless you're local!

Having been to opening day... i think this thread needs bumping to the top. Shockingly bad. So many rides closed, breaking, being evac'd. Awful! Awful! Awful!

I dared to say this on another forum. There seems to be an almost over-excitment for this coaster. I hope it is great, but worry it is just sooo gimmicky with lots of switch tracks and clever bits that it never actually gets going. Little bit of speed, few twists and then it stops to change...

Paultons also recently submitted a similar planning application for solar carpark canopies. Really good that Parks are starting to.think that way!
