Damn, that could end up being a very good thing.
CdA run their parks well, invest in them amazingly, and do well in general. The Eastern part of Germany is lacking a good theme park, and whilst Plohn is vaguely nearby, there's not exactly a lot of competition here. The park could easily be...
I haven't seen or heard of the "Boost Mode" being used this year.
That was a quick fix scenario in any case, and never seemed like a suitable long-term solution, so maybe it was just a "get it to the end of the season" thing.
A few big things that need addressing in this thread.
This is something I see thrown about a lot now, but it's not a simple thing to do.
The ride is a standard lift hill coaster. Adding on LSMs to the track and making the train capable of utilising it is not a quick or easy thing to do. In...
They are running them as often as they can. There's no exact number as it fits around the engineering schedules for the ride, which vary, plus them doing VIP experiences elsewhere.
I know at some points, they're doing 2 a week, other weeks, they simply can't offer it. But they haven't...
When the park put out a "register your interest" sign up for Hyperia coaster climbs, the response was huge. I've been made aware that if everyone who responded to that ended up actively choosing to do it, there would be a 4.5 year waiting list.
So a mixture of a high price, some form of...
Spoilers, but Intamin have shared a lovely clip which shows the underneath of the ride when it's in motion...

A bit awkward? Yes. Decent little family coaster? Also yes.
This is significantly better than what was there before. Throughput probably just as good too frankly.
The first half looks pretty fun, the second half lets it down a bit, but the swing launch/backwards gimmick will work well for the...
The point I was making (not clearly mind!) was that when it was Merlin, they couldn't staff the units. They tried hiring for F&B staff and could never get enough. Changing the company who does the hiring isn't going to magically fix that unless said new company pays more or offers better...
Tbf the lack of open units likely can't be pinned solely on Aramark. Merlin always struggled to get F&B units fully staffed. Not quite this early on in the year, and not to the extent they can't open big units, but they struggled. Maybe this has been an inevitability, moreso now with...
I mean, they're not wrong about coaster technology improving massively since it opened.
It's one of a fair few rides at Europa that suffers from prototype syndrome, in that it was Mack's first spinner and you can tell. It's a rubbish ride, and they can do something much more interesting with...
It is no surprise it looks good in that photo. Merlin are exceptional at creating brilliant marketing images and having good lighting packages installed for them.
The real test is what it looks like during the day (ie when it operates 95% of the time) and how it'll look in the dark next year
Another view of testing, giving a clearer view of the drop and airtime hill:
