This is so not where I thought it was in the park. Must have had blunt objects in my brain when looking at the plans.

These photos are really getting me more excited than they should, or than anything in the UK has made me for a long, long time <3

It's so nice to be just getting a good, solid coaster and not a piece of gimmicky crap. It's still a gimmick, but, a good one.

It's looking huge! I try to restrain myself from posting on this topic, because it normally hypes me up far too much, but that seriously looks fantastic.

That being said, it's about time the UK got another B&M, what was the last one? Nemesis Inferno in 2003? It's been far too long! I'm getting bored of the grey/black track colour recently though, Saw: The Ride, Th13teen, now this? They should've made it a military dark green colour, with dark grey supports.

Can't wait to see that Zero-G go up now! :)

It's so good to actually see some solid construction. It looks fantastic.

They've completed the drop and roll pretty fast to be honest, do you reckon they'll start work on the other support for the Zero-g?

If you look on the ground, there is a few supports lying exactly in the position of where the 2nd support will go ;)

Thankfully it looks like a quick transition meaning no vile hangtime :D

^^But hang time is so fun! Especially with your legs dangling...

If you're on the right hand side you're going to be hanging quite far in the air, haha

^Exactly! I love it on Colossus, and I love it on Pandemonium. The only time I don't like it is when it is too long...

why is a support missing for the zero g roll ? and I believe they put the track in the water as a PR stunt :L

Well its clearly not everyone being 'down' on hang time, hence the number of responses of people saying they do like it... :p

Personally, I'm with Ian. I flipping hate hang time. It just leaves me with a headache. Colossus, I can cope, since its short bursts but Pandemonium is a complete no go for. Vile contraption.

If 'The Swarm' passes through that inline at a reasonable pace it should be ok but I have a suspicion that it is designed to be very slow... just to emphasise the fact you are upside down at 127foot.

Anyways, this is looking brilliant. It is a very imposing structure that will be clearly visible. Add the massive trains that will be buzzing around and it is going to look fabulous. Although, looks aren't everything so fingers crossed the theming will match this 'intimidation' factor and make this a fantastic coaster overall.

I was at the park today with Joey and I didn't notice it tbh but he pointed out that the actual track isn't quite grey but like a dull green, it's an odd colour as it's not blatant green and does look grey. So yeah, technically it's not the same colour scheme as everything else :p

It's crazy how dominating over the skyline Swarm is though, especially near the fish, you just have this awesome 'woah' moment. I'm still trying to figure out in my head how that inversion is going to work in my head but I just come to conclusion that it'll be weird as even normal inversions on raptor are just odd. So exciting though. I know Joey took a few pics when we were there today. One of the random turns near the end of the ride has also been built and there are a few supports just sitting around, read to be put into place. There was also a bit of track sitting next to the zero-g support that looked like the main part of the zero-g roll. Exciting times.

No one trusts my judgement of colour since the Farenheit incident, John. But Swarm's track IS green/grey whilst the support are more blueish by comparison.

Here are some photos I took today. We just missed the top of the roll going on, says Neal (John's fault) but you can see in some of the pics it's not aligned/bolted into place properly yet.

I think actually you are right, because I was sure you came at it from an angle more from the right, but being there today and looking around it just seemed to make sense it would be there.

But yeah, think you're right.
