Sorry for the delay in posting this. I just got back from a busy day that included a construction update of Fun Spot USA in Orlando to find all these photos & the POV (which Hixee embedded on the previous page) from Silver Dollar City waiting in my email.

Here is park president Brad Thomas greeting the media for the testing of the coaster.

Wish I could have been part of the media for this event, but I just returned yesterday to Florida from Honduras, where I was covering the USA's World Cup Qualifier & there was no way for me to get to Missouri in time.

For all those saying there is no reason for going to Missouri, look above. You also have WoF and SFStL inside 3 hour drives each way. Then another 3 from St. Louis is Holiday World. Hardly no reason to go.

You credited the photos as Robb Alvey's, but the source is Silver Dollar City (who provided both TRP & us with the photos).

Ah, my apologies about that.
Thought maybe I was too lowly to break any pics

The trains look great too, very beautiful ride all around.

I know it's not complete but imagine the madness if they left the front open like that!

Looks like it will open March 15th

From SDC's Facebook Page
"Our test dummies are loving Outlaw Run - and you will too! The World's Most Daring Wood Coaster opens March 15 at Silver Dollar City!"

Wow! Very impressive indeed. That 153 turn just looks insane. I wonder what kind of forces it will pull. And I guess the 81 degree drop will provide great airtime, specially in the back.

^Wow, Really? US coasters often open in May.

Smidge warmer in Missouri then many of the more popular and well traveled parks in the North where the average temp in March hovers around freezing.

I was surprised by March, figured the mid west was going to be colder but guess I had that wrong.
I have the time to go by April but not the money. When I'll have the money later, no time.
2014 it is...

Since it is Missouri it will probably snow late March, early April, but in between then it'll be 80's. Missouri has some of the most ridiculous weather.
