Oh hello, this looks very exciting. So where is this going exactly? Is it going on the hill?

It's on the hill over and around Lisebergbanana, Uppswingett (sp?) and the flume. Fab!

And this is the ride that will probably blow Maverick and bluefire out of the water...

Seriously, this ride has it all! It looks amazing, and the interaction with the terrain and preexisting rides will only improve the experience  *checks flights to Sweden*

And most important, it's not blue :--D

OMFG, I'm going to Sweden in 2014!! Liseberg will become the worlds first park which will feature Mack and Intamin acelerators! That is a proper launch coaster, take that SFMM

Re: Liseberg | "Project Helix" | Mack Megacoaster

Looks like launch (or does it drop out of the station?), diving turn, second launch into a corkscrew, turn, airtime hill, pretzel loop, turn, airtime hill, zero-g, diving turn, helix, third launch into airtime hill, Corkscrew, S-Turns, heart line roll and fin.

So six inversions and three airtime spots with three launches. Awesome :)

POV

Two launches <3 I love the way the Ferris Wheel is perfectly framed through the corsksrew towards the end (1:42 in the video).

I really enjoyed Blue Fire at Europa Park, so I'm really excited about this. 563 days to go!

It's going to be fantastic to see it running alongside Lisebergbanan too with the two rides interacting.

Is it just me or does it run a bit too close (in the POV) to the log flume and Liesbergbanana?

Still, it looks very exciting, then again any new Mack megacoaster is exciting.

Wow. It looks sublime. Incorporates all of my favourite things in a coaster. Perfect location, ride interaction, launches, inversions and of course, it's green!

THIS is what I envisage for Katanga Canyon at Alton, something that blends into the existing scenery and terrain as if it's SUPPOSED to be there.

Very excited for this.

Re: Liseberg | "Project Helix" | Mack Megacoaster

Very neat design, especially on such tight quarters on a hillside.

That Pretzel Loop should be a nice picturesque frame - look forward to seeing this go vertical!
