Your 'Park Count'

I know everyone has a coaster count, but I don't see many people with a park count.

For the sake of this topic, I think it would be best to only list parks one or multiple coasters, like furie says, to avoid endless lists of tourist attractions and local parks with swings :p so sorry epcot, haha.


And I like the idea of doing an average amount of coasters per park, too.

I'll do mine after work :).
 
Do you have to ride one of the rides though to make it count, or just be in a park where there are rides?

I wouldn't even want to start on this to be honest. Does it have to be a powered ride? Or do zip wires count? Roundabouts? Swings? Slides?

17 Parks with coasters. Averages about 4 coasters a park.

Not sure how many other parks to be honest.
 
I've been to 33 parks with coasters. And I have no idea how many I've been to without.

A meagre 51 with coasters from me. 7 of them are closed down now too, and I suspect 2 of those not many people have (maybe Bazpa...)
 
I just did mine in my lunch break.

134 parks, 468 coasters

so... 3.5 coasters per park, thanks to all the credit whoring i've done at parks with just 1 kiddie coaster, haha!
 
439 coasters, between 110 parks (plus Epcot, and I didn't count fairs)

That averages out at 3.99 coasters per park!

It should be about 475 between 116 parks by year's end <3
 
I've done 15 theme parks with coasters so far - one of which is now sadly closed (Wonderland in Sydney) but I'll reach 16 when I go to Europa Park later this month :D
 
65 parks in total.
63 take away Epcot and Futuroscope.
So that's an average of 3.83 coasters per park.

Woop.
 
I've got 80 parks in total including Epicot and SeaWorld Orlando, I visited when they had no coasters.

It works out at nearly 4 coasters per park.

Nifty topic, but no way I'm going to be able to actually do it right.

Depending on what you do or don't coun't as a park, (Sanrio Puroland has a log ride, but no coasters, for example,) I've been to 297 parks, fairs and FECs with coasters, and probably between 300-305 when you include parks without a coaster such as EPCOT or Escape Theme Park in Singapore which had two broken/SBNO coasters during my visit, but I did ride most of the flats and the flume.

So, yeah. 923/297= 3.1 coasters per park.

Divide the number of coasters by the number of parks?

Math not a high priority up in Canada? :p

I've been to 71 parks (with at least one coaster I've ridden in each) & Indiana Beach was my 50th park - w00p!
I've ridden 379 coasters (381 according to coastercounter.com :?), three of which were at German fairs, so that makes my average nearly 5 1/3 coasters per park (5.338 to be exactl). So I guess I'm not much of a credit whore, since I generally don't bother with parks with only a coaster or two (and I try to stay away from kiddie coasters unless forced to at Lives :wink:).
