Why do you think...

that Raging Bull at SFGAm gets a lot of hate among CF'ers for being a crap B&M? It's a very solid coaster, my only complaint is the severe over-trimming.

The YouTube channel said it best: the other B&M hyper's are out-and-back models, this is a series of large hills, over-banked curves and helixes.

So what do you think is the downfall of the Bull?

That's the thing.. I kinda expect it with Megas now a days.. so Timmy wasn't a suprise. When I saw Bull.. I saw completely different.. along the lines of Titan and Goliath.. so I expected something legit.. but like those two.. they didn't anticipate the forces so they KILL any glory to be had when it comes to Bull. Again, as I've mentioned before, it's a shame because it shows such potential.

Just after you said:
severe over-trimming.

You've kind of answered your question before you even asked it.

Raging Bull has a fantastic first drop in my opinion, and gives a few decent pops of airtime throughout the ride, but the majority is just killed by the trims.

When I worked Bull, I learned that no matter how fast the trains are going, the first 10 dispatches of a day are never, ever trimmed to minimize the likelihood of valleying before the lubrication loosens up in the mornings.

If you ride immediately after a reset, you also get a trim-free ride. (the ride almost never goes down, so this is rare.)

The ride is indeed awesome when the trims don't hit.

Part of why it is so hard to get an untrimmed ride comes from the fact they do Lead Ridesas part of the morning checklist. When three trains are on, for the Lead to ride all three trains, it takes 11 dispatches to complete the checklist. The guests can only get the last untrimmed rides of the morning when two trains are in use.

There are three trims: the first is at the pre-drop dip on the lift hill. This one is always keyed off. The second is on the way back up after the first high turn. This one virtually always hits, unless it is one of those circumstances I mentioned earlier. The third one is usually about 50/50. The computer activates the trims based on a combination of the previous train's lap time and the time the current train completes the block before the trim in question.

TLDR: The ride is trimmed into mediocrity.

It isn't just CF that rates Raging Bull poorly - the 2010 Mitch Hawker Polls had Raging Bull second to last compared to fellow B&M Hyper Coasters (excluding Sheikra and Griffon), with Silver Star taking last. The Mitch Hawker poll is regarded as the most comprehensive roller coaster poll out there.

Trims.

Besides, it's a twister, so it's a bit different. I wish they wouldnt trim 'em.
