I ised to find it scary too when I was 8, yes! I grew out of it eventually though!

I used to think it was a coaster too... Then worked out it actually is!

Not scary when you walk round it, mind you that takes about 20 minutes. LOL

River Caves is scarier, to walk round that is. Squeezing through wall gaps, walking through dark passages full of pipework and trying not to slip on boards placed across the water channel.. eerie and fun. Not that many people experience that other than during a rare breakdown or organised tour..

I can see Goldmine being scary to kids, certainly. It's a "nightmare" to evacuate according to managers, atleast!

I wouldn't say it was scary it was cool. You don't just go through a fire exit door, you have to walk through the whole ride and go back through the station. I can see how thats a nightmare from a ride-ops point of view!
