Anyone done this?

I'm looking at the Walibi website and getting nowhere at the moment; their "routeplanner" is Coming Soon! apparently, but that's **** all use to me.

I need to be at the airport for 8pm (could probably get away with 9pm actually, but I prefer to give myself plenty of time), so pretty sure I can stay until park closing and still have enough time.

Does anyone know if there's a direct link from the park to the airport, or will it be a case of a bus into Amsterdam and jump on a train from there?

I've only driven it, and it wasn't the simplest drive if I remember correctly, but I think Tom's done it on the bus, he can probably give you a detailed account!

There's the Walibi bus back to Harderwijk station, from where it's about an hour and ten into Amsterdam Centraaaaal, followed by a 10-15 minute train to the airport.

When I go in May, I'm getting a train from Schiphol to Harderwijk station.

You have to go from: Harderwijk > Amersfoort (Platform 2, Stoptrein (NS) then from Amersfoort > Schiphol (Platform 7), train direction Hilversum (Intercity (NS).

The Netherlands Rail website is really good and helpful, it tells you every little detail. When are you going Gavin? :)

^Yeah, I've been looking at the rail websites for the Netherlands and Belgium and they're really good. I just wasn't sure of the closest station to the park, and thought that there might even be some kind of shuttle bus between park and airport, so though I'd check here.

A few of us are going there the day after the Efteling/Toverland Live. The others in the car are flying out of Dusseldorf I think, but flights were much better for me from Schipol.

Dont want to hijack the thread here, but why wasn't it simple? I'm thinking of driving there later this year.

^Hijack away!

I've got the basic information I need.
