Walibi and Efteling

I am going to walibi holland and efteling on consecutive days on a trip and about two weeks on a thursday and a friday and i just wondered if anyone could warn me if it might be busy or not and on a busy day how and when i should ride the rides to make sure i have done as much as possible by the end of the day. Thanks!

Don't go to Walibi Holland and just do Efteling because Efteling is awesome and WH is vile!

Failing that, I'd say WH will get quite vile, do they have some kind of fast pass system? If they do I'd recommend getting it. Can't say about Efteling but my advice to you is just to not miss out on the dark rides, they're something else!

^No, you got it all wrong :wink: I thought Walibi Holland was a rather nice place. It's by no means a Port Aventura or Busch Gardens, but it's a lush, nice place wit a couple of great rides! And the trip is worth it for Goliath alone :--D

Goliath is definitely the main reason for going Walibi Holland because it looks amazing, i've heard its amazing and it looks like a slightly smaller version of my number 1 coaster Expedition GeForce

Oh no, Walibi Holland is the worst (apart from their EPIC pasta place). Just such an awful park. Goliath is very over-rated.

Efteling is just beautiful with some amazing theming and it's just so massive that I've now spent 3 days there and still haven't seen everything. The coasters may not be the second coming but they're really enjoyable attractions and the water coaster, well, there's nothing else like it.

Do you think EGF is overrated as well because they look quite similar and probably ride similar. I love EGF and if you think EGF is overrated and Goliath is overrated I will probably love Goliath and it just comes down to a matter of opinion

^If you haven't already noticed I'm not especially fond of EGF! It's slow and lacks airtime imo.. But I do like Goliath a lot It's fast since the layout is closer to the ground rather then spending time up in the treetops! It's by no means an intense coaster but a very nice and well composed ride that you never get tired of!

Hold on...someone saying Walibi Holland is a terrible park and Goliath is a way to much overrated coaster? Many people don't like Walibi Holland, but it is great to hear somebody has the same opinion about Goliath.

When you will go to Walibi Holland, you don't have to fear massive crowds anyway. The park isn't that popular in Holland, so I guess you can visit the park with no long queues or anything else. The only time Walibi Holland is packed is during their also overrated Halloween Fright Nights. I do have to say it might be possible you have finished the complete park after three hours and it is pretty hard to fill the rest of your day.

For Efteling, you don't have to worry large queues as summer holiday in Holland is finished next week. But since the park is opened the whole year and summer holiday in Belgium still lasts till September 1st or the end of October, their might be alot of Belgian people coming to the park.
