Britain's Andy Murray returns as defending champion.

Since then he won Wimbledon, the most prestigious Grand Slam there is, can we win at Flushing Meadows for the second year in a row? I happen to think he will.

Predictions:

Federer won't make it to the semis. Nadal will and will win his semi, Murray will defeat Djokovic in their semi leading to a Murray vs. Nadal final which I think Murray will win in 4 sets (after dropping the first).

What do you guys think?

I think this current period is ridiciulous difficult to predict who'll win a slam given not only has Federer fallen down the rankers to provide a dangerous test earlier than expected, but there's also a number of sleepers in the top 30 who can go on a big run. Plus Berdych, Del Potro, Tsonga are capable of beating the top three on their day. If anything Ferrer is the weak link, and people are looking for the draws to see who ends up facing him and therefore which of the top three end up facing each other as a result.

I don't think Murray will win, I think he'll get knocked out in the semi. I think an unknown will end up in the final, maybe Berdych, and Nadal will walk it.

Awesome to see Dan Evans get through, real talent in the Davis cup so its about time he showed it. Robson <3 needs to start stepping up though, nows the time where she's more than a potential talent and has to start showing it.

It would be nice (in a way) to see a 'unknown' in the final.

Thought I would add this in, I tweeted Eurosport when they were asking who invented the 'Australian Volley' and...well see for yourself ;)
