SANDUSKY — The Top Thrill Dragster was closed throughout the day Monday after a cable line became detached from the ride Sunday night.
Cedar Point spokesman Tony Clark said the ride was undergoing a “complete and thorough” inspection on Monday, and was expected to reopen Tuesday.
The cable line detached at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
Clark said two park guests were taken to first aid for an evaluation Sunday night after the incident occurred.
Both were released from first aid, then returned into the park, according to the spokesman.
“As always, the safety of our guests and associates is our number one priority,” Clark said.
