The Water Parks Thread

I guess we could do with a thread for all things water park related? There's not too many people that care about them, so they probably dont serve their own topics.

Anyway, I'll get things started with an update on the new water park at Butlins, Skegness. It's looking pretty mega so far:

And what on earth is this strange looking slide:

It seemed quite long, with these little humps every now and then. It looked pretty bizzare!

With the opening of yas waterworld, I think waterparks may start to realise what they can do, that they can theme extremely well and that's waterparks can be even better than theme parks.

Also, the new wet 'n' wild in vegas is looking really good!

Skara Sommarland just announced next years addition.
It will be the tallest slide in Europe, with a trap door.

It will be Sweden's second Proslide installation, after the first one was delivered to Skara Sommarland last year.

Also Calypso Water park will be adding a second river next year, Kongo, in order to handle the huge crowds they get in the summers.

The trap door does not hurt but the re entry to the slide is a bump. Also the same with any kamaksee slides the shorts like to make their way to castration. This experience is from Da Zuka at Wet and Wild Orlando
