Haven't done a TR on here in a while, so I thought I'd write one about a bucket list park for me in Spain.
No, we're not talking PortAventura ( Though I went there, overall a ballache with the queues, Furius Baco is the best thing there, a mental ride that was one of the few to scare me in a v long time, but the views from Shambhala were pretty awesome. No idea it was on such a hill!)

Siam Park!

The Canary Islands are seldom visited by Australians. It's near enough to being on the opposite side of the world (well within 1000km of that mark), when we we go to Europe, we go to see the history etc, not to sit on a beach, cus we can do that at home (But I did that cultural stuff too! As evidenced by the temporary digression below)

Still, this is a place ive been interested in, I coulda gone to Bilbao, or had more time in Barcelona, maybe even Valencia, or a pop across to portugal, but nope, I joined the throngs on their Jet 2 Holidays down in the canaries.
I ended up having 3 days on Tenerrife down at Playa del Americas, and 3 days in Maspalomas (I got the cred at Wooland but skipped Loro Parque)

I did go to the Volcano, which is a must do, the landscapes were so alien.

But, back to Siam Park!

As for the park, yeah if you could ask for a perfect water park formula this is it.

Nice use of the natural landscape.

Good mix of slides

Very nice atmosphere.

Felt almost like a luxury beach resort sometimes.

A real dream, like you are sliding through the jungle for real.

Good food, like you can get a Pad Thai. Huge bar menus.

Also Bussy.

Didn't realise it was so popular with visitors from the UK, did get a laugh when I got chatting to a bloke wearing a Penrith Panthers jersey.
The best thing there is Safia, a Proslide rocket blast with both dueling and racing sections, a few saucers, a constrictor helix , a couple of huge drops. This is how you do an uphill water slide, dont just do hill after hill, have actual elements

The tornado was good but everyone evidently though the behemoth bowl was rubbish because the former would have a 40 min wait the other would be like 5-10 lol

The Naga Racer allows you to both go fast an be irresponsible. If you lift the front of the mat up you can turn the dips into a jump.
