On Sunday night apparently.

That paper said:
Police and firefighters had to be called to Thorpe Park last night - after a group of youths climbed to the top of one of Britain's tallest rollercoasters.
They broke in to the theme park after it had closed and then made their way to the top of the giant Stealth ride.
The emergency services were called to the scene at around 10.15pm last night (Sunday, April 16) after the youngsters reached the top of the 62 metre-high ride, which is the UK's second highest rollercoaster

Silly people.

Probably the same lot that climbed West Ham's stadium, have to admire their bravery but scoff at their stupidity, how could they have climbed though? The supports aren't exactly climb able, I could see them using the track as a 'ladder' or does stealth have a ladder/ lift going to the top like it's American cousins, they could climb something like that.

Pretty easily when you think about it. Get to the station, jump the air gates and walk along the launch track and up the top hat.

You use all the cross-ties as a rudimentary ladder.

How you could convince yourself that was a good idea, is a different question altogether. :P

I mean, that isn't exactly my idea of easy.

I also won't lie, as ****ing stupid as it obviously is, as with similar stories I've seen of this (West Ham stadium, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf), my first thought is immediately as to which Youtuber was it and when will they upload the video.

I think, easy in terms of approach, not necessarily execution!

I've had a quick search through a couple of the popular "urban exploring" sites, and nothing seems to have been posted yet. Although those sites are sometimes a bit funny about things quite as public (i.e. with news stories, etc) as this, so they might not have been kept public for long.
