Slowest/fastest lift hills

Not sure if there's a topic about this already, but which coasters, do you think, have the slowest lift hills and fastest lift hills? Aside from cables and launches, Sonic Spinball, AT has a fast lift. It may have been because of the guest population though. As for slowest, the Ultimate springs to mind.

Fastest has to be Skyrush, just edging out I305. That thing just flies up the lift.

Seems like you could take your pick of any number of Asian-made coasters for slowest. Moonsault Scramble comes quickly to mind: I can't find a POV that doesn't skip the lift hill because it took so damn long!

Oh yeah I forgot about SkyRush.

This

Skyrush, well this is slo... wait we're at the first drop?!?!?!

Not many coasters can give you airtime as you crest the top of the lift hill. My first ride.. not expecting it.. i got airtime(ish) at the top. That is legit lift hill speed.

One of the slower ones.. because of blocking.. is The Beast.

I think Skyrush is just about the only ride where riders scream while traveling up the lift.

I know it's definately not the slowest, but the slowest that i've been on was definately Magnum. However, I think it's just short enough to build up the perfect amount of tension, and the ride is amazing.

Fastest: Skyrush. period.

Fastest chain is probably the Wing Coasters (X-Flight specifically) or Leviathan. Slowest? Anything in Japan or made by Arrow/Vekoma.

Intamin's cable lift is far superior with MF, I305, and Skyrush.

For a normal chain lift, B&M has a rather fast lift with Diamondback and Tatsu, especially with the angle of ascent.

Slowest lift hill mentions should also go to Revolution at SFMM and Mind Bender at SFoG. V...e...r...y.... slow.

Never actually been on it, but I watched a video of X2 at SFMM the other day and it seemed to take ages to get up the lift hill.

From what ive actually been on, the Eurofighters normally take you up the lift hill pretty fast. Can't really remember any that seemed particuarly slow.

Typhoon in Bobbejaanland has an unnecesarry long lifthill :D.

X2's lift hill feels even longer as you ascend it backwards!

Eurofighter and Intamin chain lifthills can feel slow, but I attribute that to the fact that they do not start up until a train is present. That few seconds of delay can feel like a longer wait. (especially when Fahrenheit is running one train operation!)

T'Ultimate has two VERY slow lift hills - I counted about 1 minute 10 seconds for the first one:
