Siam Park Unveils Singha

TilenB

Strata Poster
The Spanish (or better said Tenerife's) world class waterpark Siam Park has just opened their new waterslide, Singha, the other day. The ride is Proslide's hybrid between their Rocket Blast and Flying Saucer and, complete with Siam Park's level of theming/landscaping, it looks fantastic. See it for yourselves!

I saw this the other day, and it looks really fun, but, what do those bowls add that a normal turn doesn't?

It looks fun for the ride, but not for those.

^I imagine they're slightly downhill so that won't happen.

It'd be like, any other turn on any other water slide...

Less a tie-in (thai-in?) and more the grossest example of OTT sponsorship we've seen for a pretty long time.

Nearly stalls on one of those hills and as Ben said, this giant disc's are a bit pointless.

Looks impressive aesthetically though.

Yeah, those disk turns are just to make it look interesting. Sure it looks cool creeping around them but they add literally nothing to this ride and it would just be a weaker rocket blast ride-wise. I like how it plays with the tropical environment, though.
