My youngest brother William and I dropped by for an upper-middle-class visit to the Gardens of the Earl of Shrewsbury on the 24th October 2009. This is our photographical account of our goings on.
It's rather picturesque. Perhaps we should recommend he build a World Class theme park come resort here?
The light is spectacular!
The scenery immense!
The artwork grandiose!
The water features are even wet!
William approves. This is not German blaming time.
It would seem however, that it is: standing under a tree time though.
Awww. His first upper-middle-class moment, I'm so proud!
I then gave him my camera momentarily. He would've probably stolen it had I not let him. He has a history you know
My camera was returned on the premise I took a gormless and unnecessary photo of him. So here it is. The less said of it the better.
AQUATRAX!
Apparently "Yellow Brick Road" was patented, so a rename was in order.
Reminds me of a mid-table football team's stadium. Top 8 at best.
It really is a lovely place, I would suggest a visit. I'm told a fair few of you may have been in the area at some time but neglected to...
The "Blue Walk" is hardly blue. Unless you factor in the melancholy weather.
He claims to be a Prince in the Tower. I'm skeptical. Although I wouldn't mind, as I'm the eldest and would be their heir apparent!
This is a doorway to nowhere. I'm not certain, but it's probably a Dream Theater song.
Ah that's it! England (the mid-table team I was mentioning earlier).
This ledge was designed with me (and perhaps Ciall), thanks Shrewsbury, you're a dear!
William attempts to assassinate Wembley Stadium in a Bond moment.
Fountains are Wet. The sky appears to be inclined to be less so at this point.
In a very British manner I would like to inform you that the weather has improved considerably.
For the England fan out there (there's always 1, someone has to afterall). You'll be pleased to know that William's attempts to destroy your stadium were unsuccessful. For the rest of us - DAMN!
Silly fickle British weather is sunny at present. This pictures outlines this fact.
The 5 pillars of Islam and an 11 year-old white caucasian child. A-Kid approves of just 1/6th of this picture.
This is not a doorway to nowhere. And as such is not bleak enough to be considered for the title of a Dream Theater song.
8 pillars of Islam? A-Kid will be furious! Who knew?
Green: is the predominant colour in this picture. 2nd is blue.
Lookout! No, seriously.
The weather - it was pleasant. William really doesn't understand the concept of the umbrella does he? See, this is why Rihanna should be banned!
Sunlight through trees is a lovely effect. For those members of the internet community who rarely venture from the PC, it is showcased here for you.

Storm clouds were brewing. It best be Earl Grey or I shall not be amused!
We were then attacked by Pirates! William joined them!
I enlisted randomers to shoot down and sink the ship - to moderate success!
SQUIRREL!
No William, that's not a Squirrel. Although younger brother may approve.
They are also not a squirrel William. They are dead safari tourists. Perhaps they met a squirrel. Most likely that Giant African Man-Eating Squirrel we discussed in the car?
This is also not squirrel. It's a spinner. You're not very good at this game.
That is a worm. God! I don't know why I bother.
OK, I'll give you that one! That's a pretty damned big squirrel, just imagine the size of it's nuts!
POINT!
UP: The Ride!
We were told this flies. But at present a large metal structure has grounded it. Sad Times.
This be where the dragon lives. And he eats you if you don't keep your shoes on. So now you know! It's got nothing to do with poxy lifthills and evacuations, silly enthusiasts.
