In a school lesson I was talking to friends randomly and just thought, How do you say Sheikra? Shakekra or Sheekra?

I remember two Christmases ago when my cousin was telling me about his trip to Floria and how he loved the "Shakira" ride. He must have said Shakira about 10 times. If I wasn't drunk, I probably would have corrected him.

I've always pronounced it "Sheek-ra", which I think is correct.
