SFMM Platinum Flash Pass X2/Lex Luthor reserving

Hey everybody!
My name is Daniel and I will be visiting Six Flags Magic Mountain this summer, and since we are going in the middle of spring break and this will probably be one of the only times in my life I will ever visit a amusement park this big (since I'm from the Netherlands), I'm getting a Platinum Flash Pass for 3 people (me, my younger brother and my father). But I have some questions about it, particularly about reserving for X2 and Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom (and maybe Full Throttle).
On the SFMM site it says that an additional fee is required to reserve a seat on X2 with the Gold or Platinum Flash Pass, and for Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom aswell, but do you need to pay this extra fee everytime you want to reserve a seat on those rides, or do you need to pay the fee, to get access to reserving seats for them? If so, 10$ (which is the fee I think) is alot, and I don't know if it'll be worth reserving it.
Also, we are visiting Friday the 16th of August, do any of you guys know whether it will be busy that day? Because it is in the middle of Spring Break I thought it would definitely be busy, which is also why I thought a Platinum Flash Pass would be necessary, but I'm not sure of this.
I should also point out that we will most likely enter the park at 10:30 am (opening time) and will be staying there till it closes.

Anyways, thanks for the help!

Daniel

Okay, so a little update of sorts, the tickets have been bought, with the Platinum Flash Pass, and I discussed the topic with my father, and I just thought that we would just wait it out, since we can (most likely) do every other ride aswell, even if we lose an hour or something on waiting for these rides.

SFMM changed their flash pass system from the last time I used it, but as far as I recall, the old system you got 4 "tickets" where you picked a ride when you set up the pass, and then you go and use it, so yeah, it is one ride per ticket for that price, and that is per person.

As long as you get there at park opening though, you shouldn't really need the flash pass. I mean, it will be busy, but as long as you intend to spend the entire day there, and utilize your time wisely, you can get everything done easily.
