SF Mexico and La Ronde 2012?

D1993

Hyper Poster
During the announcement video when the Six Flags CEO announced all the new additions for the 2012 season, he mentioned that La Ronde and Six Flags Mexico where getting exciting new additions and people should stay tuned. I headed over to the websites a couple weeks ago, but its all french and spanish so I cant really find anything.

Does anyone know if these parks have announced any new additions?

I really hope Mexico get something soon... they haven't had anything since the hyper in 2004 (I don't count a hand-me-down wild mouse that another park couldn't build), so they're well overdue SOMETHING.

But then, it's the only real park in a huge metropolitan area so I guess they don't really need to bother.

^ Exactly, its not like people have many other choices in mexico city. Six Flags Mexico is probably the only good theme park for them to go to.
But with La Ronde, they have great competition with Canadas Wonderland and even greater this year with Leviathan.
The CEO did say both parks were getting something new. Im curious if this its just 'new shows' new, or maybe flat thrill ride or perhaps a great roller coaster?

Well, I think Six Flags did a mass press release for all the new coasters on the same day, so we can rule that out. Although, La Ronde isn't branded by Six Flags really so might not fall under that... Mexico could be the same because obviously it's not an American park.

I doubt they're getting anything major, anyway...

^ Thats what I figured. Considering no-one really has a solid idea I guess that answers my question.

^^ Ive never heard of that, usually big websites like Six Flags just have a English translate button. Thanks I will try that.

Hi

I´m new on this forum, and I think I can afford some information about SF Mexico.

This is my home park, and the last years they haven't oppened something new, and they have been closing atracctions on silence.

The worst part is that the prices are rising, the service is decreassing, and the maintenance on the rides is only focussed on safety and operation, but not on image.

The latest rummors claim that The Spinning coaster Pandemonium at SF Discovery Kingdom will be the new atracction for the 2012 seasson.

This are bad news for us, because we already have the Dark Knight coaster, and we think that another wild mouse coaster style is not what the park needs.

Right now, the mexican coaster enthusiast club is angry with the park and their excessive prices at the point that only one member of the 90 active persons, have renewed the seasson pass.

This is the actual situation with this park, and we hope that Jim Reid Anderson really give us something very thrilling with the prommissed "Big Announcement".

Thanks for reading!
