Sexy Rides.... ummmmm.

I find it slightly odd when people describe rides as "sexy"... It's almost humanizing the thing and I'm surprised nobodies committing acts of mechrophilia (Act of having intercourse with machinery).

Do you describe rides, roller coasters or attractions as sexy, if so, why? If not, does it give you the same creeps as it gives me when I hear or read somebody say it?

Totally agree with the above. If I ever describe a ride as "Sexy", it is just meaning I find is aesthetically and visually appealing. Not that I actually want to sex the ride up..

I only recall comparing a ride to anything related to sex, after I've rode it. Dragon Khan springs to mind, if I tend to get what I call an 'adrenaline orgasm' (basically a superior rush of adreanline), I tend to come off the ride saying it was lack of a better word... Sex

That's my theory, but I also agree with what you can see aesthetically, but again Khan ticks that point off in my book, call me a fanboy, I don't care, Khan is a sexy beast!

Some people use the word sexy for everything. It's just a joke. I never personally use it, but my cousin is a great example. He's called coasters sexy, Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches, he just basically uses sexy as a synonym for awesome.

I don't think that there's much else to say as everyone has basically covered it. Though I would like to point out that Mean Streak is sexy at all times. That ride has some of the most "sexy" (see, even used it here) visual effects, and the lift hill with the turn wrapping around it makes it very photogenic.
