Romania | Divertiland | Water Park + Theme Park

peep

CF Legend
I don't think this has been posted before on CF but the other day RCDB added 3 creds for the park.

Divertiland seems to have already opened their waterpark and they've got a regularly updated Youtube and Facebook account. Their website doesn't seem to provide much information apart from a park map. It seems to indicate that the park will open August this year but that clearly doesn't include the whole park which includes a small amusement park (with said 3 creds) and a small indoor park for little kids. It looks like it has a nice range of attractions and it looks great for families.

Website: http://www.divertiland.ro
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DivertilandPark
Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/DivertilandPark
RCDB page: http://www.rcdb.com/10912.htm

Their youtube page linked me to the following video which has confused me a little. They've clearly just paid some models to pose around the place for starters but then some guy speaks in broken English about some sort of certification, does this mean they're not allowed to open or something until it gets approved?

Then again they keep posting videos and images as if the waterpark is open so I have no idea. But considering RCDB claims that the coasters are opening next year I assume that the waterpark is just stage one and the amusement park and indoor park will open next year.

Re: New park for Romania

Weird, the front page of their website shows a blatant picture of BGT's Kumba- and RCDB has no reference to a B&M in construction!

Re: New park for Romania

That doesn't mean anything, parks often use images of completely different rides to give an 'impression' of what they're getting. B&M pictures are a favourite as box track is easier to Photoshop. My personal favourite is the advertising pics for manta in San Diego (which area not only on every billboard and leaflet advertising the park, but also on signs ALL over the park itself). The ride itself is a Mack, but the image is cheetah hunt's train on b&m track.

Those Fabbri inverted coasters are funky. Three across seating on 3-car trains, not to mention the layouts are a bit odd as well.

Regarding the Fabbri Invert "Hyena Hell" (loving the name ), how will it achieve 4.5G (according to RCDB) when it only has a max speed of 29mph? I've yet to ride a Fabbri invert so perhaps I'm underestimating them.

In any case, very odd looking park. The waterpark looks cool at least but it's not like there's a shortage of them in Europe or anything...

Tight swing radius, I'd bet. With a small enough circle to travel along, you can achieve immensive forces with a rather low tangential speed.

Hmm, good spot. Their website has changed too, although it looks nice there is now no reference to this new park with rides. Maybe they've delayed its opening to next year?

Looks like it will remain a water park. No new updates to be found on the theme park side of things and RCDB has deleted it (the link now goes to Kid's Inn park in Germany). Since the water prk has been open for some time, I'm going to un-sticky for now until there are new signs of life for any rides or coasters.
