Rides that need a new paint job

Sun bleaching completely ruins a coasters beauty IMO. Some parks need to re-paint a few of their coasters. One ride in particular would be Storm Runner @ Hershey. Any others that are in dire need?

(Didn't find a thread about this yet. Tell me if one already exists.)

How could I forget about my home park?

S:UF and Raging Bull are in desperate need, don't ask about Batman, I like the deep-city feel it conveys.

Why don't they put paint rollers onto the wheels of the coaster and let it paint the track itself as it goes through the course?

^This. <3

The big dipper is looking rather nasty now, needs a fresh like of pain, maybe lime green to go with the other wooden coasters at Pleasure Beach. ;)

I remember how bad Incredible Hulk looked like before it finally got re-painted.

Seriously, how could Universal let it rust that badly? Colossus at SFMM from the pictures I've seen looks pretty horrendous too, in fact I think you can extend that to most of SFMM's coasters.

I hate to keep bringing it up but Jubilee Odyssey

A picture from a more local forum will illustrate the severity of the fading

Im totally with everyone here thats suggesting Colossus at Thorpe Park. Its horrifically bad, it rides horribly too. The difference from 2004 to 2011 was horrific, it was like a brand new ride first time and the second time it felt 20 years older.

Most of alton towers rides could do with a CLEAN, im not sure repaint is necessary as its just surface scum, none of the rides get that much sun exposure really. Nemesis suits the dirty rusty look and oblivion will never be suited to a gloss finish ever again. It's looked matt for far too long and gotten away with it

this really, rides at Alton don't necessarily need a new coat of paint just a big clean! The amount of green scum on Air is ridiculous. Thing is with Alton, they can annoyingly get away with it. Because of the setting the dirt that forms allow the sides to sink into the natural setting.
Dark Forest for instance, you cant see half of thirteen anyway until youre on it and it's black anyway, so if any green scum off the trees etc forms on the track they could say its the forest taking over or some ****, same with Rita.
Nemesis is supposed to look rusty and pulls it off perfectly.

The Flume however needs 500 powerwashes, or just replaced with something else.

Totally agree with the dark forest thing. Part of me thinks theyve deliberately left rita scummy or theyve applied artificial scum on it so it blends in with the whole 'took over by the forest' thing. Shame because rita used to be really glossy. I asked my mate how old he thought rita was and he said he reckons it opened about 1998.

Either way i cant say its 'changed' drastically such as the likes of colossus and odyssey, but perhaps they should make more effort. Definitely with air, i always pictured it as the shiny, new, clean, well presented ride of alton even when i went in 2007. But 5 years on they seem to have let it go a little

I just looked at Colossus' fading and almost gagged.

Alton, from the looks of it, can pull off dirt and muck and grime on their coasters surprisingly well, but from the pictures that I've seen I don't like the scum that's accumulated on air, which I think is supposed to be a crisp, clean-finished look.
