Rides that are put in the wrong category.

By this I mean like, take Alton's system of; Thrill Rides, Laughs & Frights, Magic & Young Fun and Relax, in my opinion a lot of parks have got this wrong, maybe creating a little disapointment in guests if a ride sucked which was in the "Thrilling" category.

Starting with the obvious at Alton:
Blade should be demoted to Laughs & Frights, and maybe Enterprise, although it seems good where it is, and all Enterprises are listed under the thrilling section in the UK anyway, but with Blade I guess one of the reasons it has been put with the thrill rides is because it's in a hostile themed area maybe.

Thorpe:
XWTF is definatly not an "Extreme Ride", but due to the high height restricition, prehaps it's the best place for it to be, but definatly causes disapointment! But as the case is that it is in the Extreme Rides, why can't Quantum join it, I find it more thrilling that X and Zodiac, but wierdly Zodiac is no longer listed on the Thorpe site :?

Drayton:
Although Bounty is one of the most thrilling swinging ships I have ridden, maybe i's not worth putting up there with Apocalypse, but it's no biggy, I really like it!

Pleasurewood Hills:
Maybe they should include "Snake In The Grass" in the thrill rides, and maybe Le Mans, Wavebreaker and Shiver m Timbers, as they seem some of the most thrilling rides in the park to me, and include Kite Flyer and Balloon Rays in the family rides.

Well, I think parks really have most of their rating systems far off. I just chose a random park site (Canada's Wonderland) for the sake of this post, to see how they did theirs, and it does seem screwed up.. They have Thunder Run as a thrill ride and Fly as a family ride (which to me was quite possibly one of the scarier rides in the park). They also have the Go Karts in the family section which I don't think are really geared toward younger kids.

Basically every park has things wrong and it would be silly to have to name all of them :P .
