McDonalds has had for many years now it's 'Pound Saver Menu' which consists of many things including Mcflurry, medium fries, medium drink etc for £1 or there abouts.

KFC then announced about 3 months or so ago it's 'Snack Box', consisting of a small fries and a small piece of chicken (breast, boneless, leg) or popcorn chicken, for £1.99.

Just last week Burger King announced it's 'King Deals', a cheeseburger, small fries and small drink for £1.99 or substituting the cheeseburger for a double cheeseburger for £2.99.

But what is better value for money? What would you prefer to have as a snack?

Personally, I think that the BK King Deal for £1.99 is great. I had two yesterday and they certainly fill you up. The others are nice, but just aren't as filling or value-for-money, except the Mcflurry, nomnomnom.

I find myself going for the McDonalds Value Picks menu, since they tend to be the right size for the price, and are all nice.
We've got a slightly different set, Mini Snack Wraps, Mini Frozen Coke, Deluxe Cheesburger (Beef, Mayo, Lettuce, Cheese), Apple Pie.

What is frustrating though is that before the Deluxe Cheesburger, they used to have this thing called a Double Beef 'n' Cheese for 1.95 AUD (0.95 GBP), it was awesome because it was a bit of a pricing anomaly, since it was cheaper than normal cheeseburgers, and double cheeseburgers. Yet it was virtually the same thing (OK, so one less slice of cheese, but I think I can forgive that given it was so much cheaper)
Then they took it away, and subsequently facebook groups (linky) popped up demanding its return.

The snack boxes are good, 3.25 AUD here (1.60 GBP), but they are perhaps a tad too small, hence them being my second choice.
Wish we had boneless as one of the options though :(

Hungry Jacks (The trading name of BK here) have these things called "Stunner Deals" (linky) which are a whopper Jr, Small Fries, Small Drink and Sundae for 4.95 AUD (2.44 GBP) ...TBH i have never gotten one though because Hungry Jacks aren't that good.

The King deals have been out months.
They're **** too, the burgers are ****ing tiny.

XL Bacon Double Cheese is what its all about baby.

From those though, McDonalds, KFCs chips are horrid.

For value meals such as the pound saver, KFC all the way.
For the proper pricier meals, Burger King all the way. I can't stand McDonalds, it's the worst food outlet ever!
