Pile of sh*te and Other Creds

Jordanovichy

Credit Whore 2016
For some Easter is a time for family and eating chocolate to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. For goons though, it is a time for creds, creds and more creds.

For me the trip started at 16:00 on Saturday afternoon. Stone Cold had the pleasure of chauffeuring myself and ATTACKHAMMER down to Ian's flat way down south. We arrived at Ian's a couple of hours later. We arrived early and were the only goons there so we played 'rude word' scrabble on his fridge. Eroded Groin was a particular favourite. Don't read if you're easily offended. Thanks.

Slowly other goons arrived. Think Sue and Peep were first, followed by Darren B with a delicious looking Kebab. Lastly Conor and Hot Jordan arrived. Ian had cooked as all a chilli which was fab a lab. We played a few rounds of 'Cards Against Humanity' and watched plenty of videos, POVs, Rollercoaster Review Show and T'Gaming Duo. Around 22:00 Ian disappeared and reappeared with a laptop which he placed down in front of us. A quick glance at the screen told us we were skyping with 2012Jarrett!!!!!! I have never been so happy. Stone Cold was mature as he usually is with asking daft questions and just being loud. It was fab fab fab seeing Jarrett on skype. We let him get on with the rest of the evening.

Inevitably, the water pistols were cracked out. It started off calmly to start with with the odd fire at Peep and Sue but then it turned into the Battle of the Somme, well, that was probably drier. We were just running round Ian's flat trying to get each other soaked, in trying to fill up my pistol I slipped into the bath arse first and couldn't move. Cue masses of water being fired at poor NSH Jordan! Sorry Sue for the use of the picture but as you can see I was absolutely soaking.

1013587_987499433070_2981130342572232691_n.jpg

We dried ourselves and Ian's flat afterwards and hit the sack with us all variously scattered over Ian's floor and furniture.

We were awoken the next morning to the smell of BellMuffin™ wafting through the rooms. They are so fab. I won't ruin the surprise in case you ever plan on staying at the chief goon's.

We left at 8am (burden) to get the 9am ferry at Southampton to the Pile of Sh*te. Fairly uneventful crossing (we tried not to mention any recent boat accidents). I hadn't been to the Island for 8 years and I don't ever remember it being such a **** hole. The little towns are nice but the roads are all very small and it is hilly which makes you feel quite queasy after a time.

Pirate Cove Fun Bay

We arrived at the first cred of the day, Captain Jack's Runaway Train in the Pirate Cove Fun Bay in Shanklin.

10170802_10203037701097842_4738790862324678916_n.jpg

As soon as we arrived the heavens opened. Cold Stone Cold was stone cold.

10269532_10203037696817735_4653248891925491501_n.jpg

I had a few small crises over the beds in the nearby cliffs

10269620_10203037698737783_4979930946694979676_n.jpg

We got absolutely soaked on the cred which, to be honest, was just dull, nothing more than a +1.

Blackgang Chine

We took a rather uncomfortable 30 minute drive to our next destination through the pouring rain. Blackgang Chine was that destination.

10168044_10203037704777934_285553298357597472_n.jpg

A park that, in the pouring rain, no one really wanted to be at. We paid the excessive entrance fee (£15 I think?) and we were in. After a bit of faff and sheltering for the rain to at least calm down slightly, we made a bee line for the cred, Cliffhanger.

10269603_10203037710218070_4153619111987303630_n.jpg

Rather aptly named, Cliffhanger almost hangs over the cliff with a 200+ ft drop down to the beach. It has already had to be moved as the park is essentially falling into the sea. The cred itself was fab. It was really enjoyable. It was the best cred of the weekend by a country mile and was more than just a +1

10155027_10203037709178044_8025653610512802487_n.jpg

On getting off we saw some costumed characters! They were dinosaurs which opened their mouths and swung their tails and heads around. They were so fab. Being me, I took some selfies with dinosaurs.

1486592_10203037712658131_7368246173532137108_n.jpg

We had a wander through the 'new for 2014' Area 5, which is simply a dinosaur walkthrough. It was excellent. The dinosaurs moved and made sounds. I got the feeling they'd really tried. Loved it. There was one massive T-rex which, when it breathed, the whole platform you stood on vibrated. It was so fab.

10155216_10203037714578179_4070047209491172940_n.jpg

In the pissing rain my camera was getting soaked so I decided against more photos. We had a slow mince around other attractions, a house with a hole which Sue climbed in to (read in to that what you will), there was a pretty fab weird house walkthrough. I had much pleasure in a beared kiss with Conor at the romantic section or whatever it was. Jordan took a photo, I'll leave it to her if she wants to post it or not ;)

We also went into some tacky singing pet shop. You press buttons and random animals sing, like a cat, dog, tortoise, parrot etc. It was tacky but fab. We then stood in a gazebo and assessed the situation. Leave for noms or stay and ride something else in the pouring rain. We bailed, the rain really was stupidly heavy by this point.

We found a Wetherspoon's in Ryde near the ferry terminal. I'll leave the main food report to ATTACKHAMMER but I had...

10255883_10203037716578229_7972743907767280132_n.jpg

It was really very delicious. I think I had some of ATTACKHAMMER's chips too.

We moved on to the ferry. Originally we were booked on to the 18:30 ferry but by 13:30 we wanted out. We had to pay for the privilege but we got a much earlier ferry at 14:30. Back in England (despite the IOW not actually being separate it felt like a huge difference, esp. given the ferry takes almost as long to get to France from Dover) we headed over to an Easter fair on a common. We walked through a graveyard as we were going on a cred hunt.

We found the fair! Was there a cred? YES!

10262071_10203037719098292_7153379742826560635_n.jpg

We were over the moon, what could possible go wrong? Ahh yes, the weather. Despite it now finally having stopped raining, the ground had been made so soft the cred was shut in case it sunk or whatever. Such a burden. There was a pretty fab helter skelter

10252032_10203037716738233_2255242596698353774_n.jpg

We were spited and then we had a good 30 minute walk back to the cars because we went 'the other way'. That was painful.

Clarence Pier

Next up was Clarence Pier in Southsea, home to two creds, both of which I had.

1925296_10203037720458326_8295256429447440313_n.jpg

Skyways is a great coaster, Mr. Bean rode it back in the day. I gave it a ride purely for the memories

I filmed my first ever POV on it this time too. I shall post it if the quality is any good.

Darren B and Peep loved it
1902913_10203037726538478_7629304619362617502_n.jpg

We went to the arcade and enjoyed the 2p slot machines. Stone Cold robbed every machine of it's **** little keyrings, collectively we won enough ticket things to win a plastic golf set which was interesting.

That was it for the parks for the day. We headed back to Bell Tower. Sue and Peep said their goodbyes. The rest of us headed out to the local Harvester. I wanted 1/2 chicken but they had none so settled for southern fried. No picture I'm afraid. There was a little faff with Darren's steak but I cba to go into that.

We watched plenty more POVs that evening of various rides, we also watched some old live videos Furie did back in the day. It was a fab way to end a fab day.

Part two, Gullivers and Billing Aquadrome coming sometime soon! Thanks for reading.

Nice trip report mister, I will write mine up when I can be bothered to upload my few photos. So much RAIN!

Our day started with a leisurely 1 hour drive to Billing Aquadrome, where the promise of a train kept SonofTom happy during the journey.
Upon arrival we parked up and wandered towards the cred, MouseAT arrived and we chatted while SonofTom did his best to get in every flat ride possible until the rest of the group arrived.
Once hellos had been exchanged and tokens obtained we jumped on the cred, which involved a lot of kicking and screaming from the boy. He wanted to go on the bugs, not the train.
Off we went and it was a standard cred, got a pic of the goons though.

1794686_10152176703954215_771118356957570514_n.jpg

SonofTom enjoyed it once he was on but was shouting to stop as we went through the station, oh no, 3 laps! He was glad to get off.

Met Smithy as well, so a good morning so far.

Cred obtained we bundled off to Gullivers, and once parked got in a short queue for tickets. No issues getting in, and we went on the carousel, as it was there.

IMG_2575.jpg

The goons were getting restless and insisted on a cred, but if course, so Crazy Mouse/Cheese Factory was the first Gullivers Cred.
I thought it was rubbish, but SonofTom really liked this one, with shouts of "woaaaaahhhh!!"

We then plodded around to Python, Chief Goon took child watch while I snagged the cred. It was better than I expected, but still just a +1.

SonofTom saw some slides so decided to spend 15 mins whoring the red slide, while the groupofgoons enveloped the Drop tower.

IMG_2573.jpg

IMG_2572.jpg

Next up was Silver Mine, classed as a shooter, it was diabolically poor.

The others went on the log flume, I attempted to get SonofTom on but "no boats" was the resounding response. We decided to stay with Ian and watch the rest.

Oh it was amazing. Conor, Darren, NHS and Stone Cold had somehow wedged themselves into a boat that was blatantly too small for them all.
There was some commotion as the rest of the boats got stuck at the first lift hill. We deduced, using our significant sleuthing skills that the fat boat was stuck on the 2nd lift hill and wasn't making it to the top.
5, maybe 10 mins passed with no sign of the missing boat, we thought it may have sunk but then a loud Conor appeared out of nowhere, telling everyone that he had escaped the capsized ship via a maintenance path.

The next thing we know, the fat boat, sans Conor came hurtling down the drop, providing a good splash effect, but the boat, laden with a large Goonfield at the front dipped below an oncoming wave of water and absolutely soaked Darren's crotch.

Hilarity ensued from us watching the action, I think Ian managed to video it, brilliant.

The next attraction was the final cred, Runaway Train.

Very jolty in places, no re rides were requested.

People were starting to get hungry so we quickly did the Gullivers ride. Small, but well themed i guess.

We then grabbed something to eat, and most of the goons left, leaving just me, SonofTom and MouseAT. We mooched around for a bit then went on the Vintage Cars.

IMG_2570.jpg

Think the other ones I've been on are better, these didn't all want to run at the same speed so we got stuck behind a slow car.

Then we went on the Monorail Cycles, with Andy saying he might not have learnt his lesson from the last ones he went on.

IMG_2568.jpg

Nice and easy peddling through the straights but the corners take their toll on the legs, got half way round and realized how much more was to go. Will wait til the boy is a bit bigger before doing this again.

Then we went to Toyland again and went on the new for 2014 Balloon Ferris Wheel.

IMG_2567.jpg

Constantly stopping to let others on, would be much better to batch it for 3/4 revolutions etc, and when we did want to get off had to wait 2 more revolutions, faff.

We then went on the River Boat Ride.

IMG_2565.jpg

There is a part of this ride that looks like it had a waterfall previously, but it's just bare rock now. SonofTom enjoyed it though, telling us all the animals he was seeing.

At this point Andy said his goodbyes as had a nasty drive ahead.

We ran the maze twice.

IMG_2564.jpg

I like a good maze, and this is a good one, reasonable size with many wrong pathways which take you ages to realize you've gone the wrong way. And of course, a nice viewing platform in the middle.

We wandered around the park for a bit, SonofTom played in the wild west area and went on the slides some more.

IMG_2561.jpg

It started to rain slightly so we jumped on the nearby train.

IMG_2562.jpg

And went on the Gullivers ride (he missed the first one being hungry)

IMG_2559.jpg

We then re rode the Crazy Mouse as he knew what was in the shed.

IMG_2558.jpg

Then let him run around the Toy Factory for 20 mins.

IMG_2557.jpg

We finished the day with one more ride on the Crazy Mouse and a ride on the main Train that circles the park.

It was a nice chilled day with the boy and the goons, great to see everyone again as per usual and good to spend a bit more time just chatting random stuff with Andy.

Gullivers Land itself is a great kids park with bits and bobs for adults, but I can see why a couple of hours was enough for everyone. I'm sure i'll be taking him again so if any other goons need the creds you can use him as an access card.

Edited for SC/Conor mixup, ta Ian.

Isle of Wight

After a burdenous ferry crossing from Southampton, we arrived on the Isle of Wight. Here's my car load looking forward to a couple of creds.
iow2014_001.JPG

A burdenous drive on the Island's roads led us to Shanklin seafront which house a new-for-me cred. Impressive setting, it's a shame the rain started to pour down. It was raining so hard that Stone Cold wore MouseAT's old fleece (the fleece) that was in the boot of my Superior German Car.
iow2014_002.JPG

It screeched up the tyre lift hill due to our weight and the rain. It was ok, had a bit of vibrating bottomness but that was it.
iow2014_004.JPG

Conor got into the Easter spirit.
iow2014_003.JPG

Another burdenous drive later and we were at a wet Blackgang Chine.
iow2014_005.JPG

We did the cred, Cliffhanger, which was operated by a young lad with a robotic voice. It was ok.
iow2014_006.JPG

Fab dinosaur things appeared.
iow2014_007.JPG

iow2014_008.JPG

We did the New-for-2014 Dinosaur walkthru, which was quite fab. The animatronics and noises were great. My groin got squirted with water from one of them. I was already wet so I didn't realise at first.
iow2014_009.JPG

iow2014_010.JPG

iow2014_011.JPG

I liked the subtle humour by the T-Rex.
iow2014_012.JPG

The new walkthru is near the old walkthru, which is less impressive but gave Darren bumming opportunities.
iow2014_013.JPG

iow2014_015.JPG

This is how Stone Colds are born.
iow2014_014.JPG

Then we went inside The Mouth of Hell.
iow2014_018.JPG

iow2014_016.JPG

Unable to resist a tight hole, Sue made her way through it.
iow2014_017.JPG

iow2014_019.JPG

iow2014_020.JPG

It was still raining so we did the indoors Crocked House attraction.
iow2014_021.JPG

iow2014_022.JPG

We faffed around under cover and decided to call it a day. The rain really put a damper on the day. Blackgang Chine is a good, fun park with some interesting attractions and silly stuff suitable for the mentality of the group who went.
iow2014_024.JPG

iow2014_025.JPG

Alas, the rain was unbearable so we left.

We had some food in Ryde, caught and early ferry back to the mainland. We attempted to do the cred at the fair on Southampton common, but that was rained off. We then travelled 20-or-so miles down the M27 and M275 motorways to...

Clarence Pier

I have a soft spot for Clarence Pier because I used to visit it frequently when I was younger and I still do today. I didn't ride anything but took a few photos. At last, the rain had stopped so the mood was slightly more upbeat.

Those who needed the creds did Speedy Coaster, where only 50% of it's name is appropriate.
iow2014_026.JPG

iow2014_027.JPG

The other cred, Skyways, was probably first ever coaster.
iow2014_028.JPG

They queued then took their seats...
iow2014_029.JPG

iow2014_030.JPG

iow2014_032.JPG

...and went "weeeeeeeee!"
iow2014_033.JPG

The remaining time at the park was spent in the arcades. Lots of tickets were won.
iow2014_034.JPG

The prize was a plastic golf ("galf") set which is now broken up and in my bin.

I wouldn't say it was the best day out I've ever had at amusement parks, but the time spent with CFers outside of the parks made up for it.

I'll put the Monday report up once I've had supper.

On Easter Monday, myself and several CFers went to two parks. The first one was in Northampton...

Billing Aquadrome

I've visited lots of "small" amusement parks and funfairs tacked on the side of a holiday village, but if theme parks were ranked in a pikey caravan based league, it would be the 6 Birth Buccaneer Schooner of theme parks. It makes the Tir Prince parks look like Disney World!

However, I met the elusive Smithy! Meeting Smithy at Billing Aquadrome can only be described as stepping on a dog turd only to find a £2 coin stuck to your shoe. Satisfied with getting the Smithy (and Girlfriend of Smithy) cred, we added a +1 to our coaster counts.
billing01.JPG

billing002.JPG

Even on a coaster, Smithy remains elusive.
billing003.JPG

After saying our brief goodbyes to Smithy and Katie (who were off to Wicksteed), the rest of us drove 30mins down to the road to...

Gullivers Land Milton Keynes

The park was suffering from Spanish Operations. It seemed to take ages to queue up and get tickets BUT the girl who served me was VERY polite and friendly. In fact, all of the few staff I encountered were cheerful and most important, non-robotic and false. Hurrah!

After sourcing a packet of crisps, we rode the Carousel That Went On For Far Too Long.
billing004.JPG

billing005.JPG

billing006.JPG

A box ticking exercise followed. First stop was The Cheese Factory, which is now called Crazy Mouse. One of the most common names for a rollercoaster.
billing007.JPG

It's a figure-of-eight coaster in the dark with oversized objects. A cred in a shed. Quite well themed for what it is but good for children, I guess.
billing008.JPG

We moved towards the back of park behind the quite impressive looking Camelot style castle to cred #2 - Python. Also a very common name for a rollercoaster.
billing011.JPG

SonofTom was too small to ride but as I had the cred already, I looked after him whilst DadofSonofTom rode it. I only really interact with two children on a regular basis and when I do, I talk to them like they're adults (but using childish subjects). I soon realise that SonofTom wasn't interested in talking about Peppa Pig World (which surprised me) so we played ball instead.

Conor and Stone Cold played some hitting/kicking buttons game, whilst Jordanovichy stayed within 4ft of Stone Cold like the attentive goon he is.
billing009.JPG

billing010.JPG

We did the Moser bounce tower after the cred. I LOVE these rides. They give me willy lift like no other ride. Pure pleasure.

On the way to log flume, we did the crappy dark shooter ride. It was AWFUL. The guns didn't work (well, mine didn't) any there was no score so it felt utterly pointless. It wasn't even so-bad-its-good-good. It was dire.
billing012.JPG

The usual fat boat shenanigans occurred on the Log Flume. Conor, Stone Cold, Darren B and NHS Jordan squeezed into a boat. It bottomed out and they had to pull themselves around. You can see the waterline difference with Peter and Rach's ("Peaches") boat behind them.
billing016.JPG

billing017.JPG

This caused a problem and soon enough boats were stacked up behind them. Eventually the boat came down the first drop WITHOUT CONOR!

The fat boat didn't make it up the lift hill so Conor jumped out (under supervision of a park employee) and left the other three cheese-eaters to it! This still resulted in a big splash and bottoming after the drop!

The final cred was next. Again, like the others in the park, it has a very commonly used name - Runaway Train.
billing013.JPG

I sat out (I remember it being quite vile) and took some crappy photos of others riding it.
billing014.JPG

billing015.JPG

After a quick ride on the Gulliver's Lilliput ride, most of us called it a day and went our separate ways.

Despite only spending a short day at Billing and Gullivers, the day was much better than the day before. The sun was shining for starters. Secondly, I think the comparison between the doing the two parks highlighted how two parks 20 miles apart can be so different in terms of atmosphere, effort and quality.

I'm in no rush to revisit any of the parks I visited this Easter weekend. It was all about box ticking and spending time with some quality people, rather than wasting time at quality parks ;)

I'm sure MouseAT got a picture of me that wasn't so illusive!

A handshake from Ian from coasterforce followed by a bear hug from Jordan removed any sort of awkwardness involving a stranger walking into the middle of the group and leaning over Ians shoulder to say hello.

Think I said hello to most people and sorry to those I didn't.

At about 4pm on Friday afternoon Richard and Jordan arrived outside my house in the fab Volvo!

We had great conversations on the way to Ian's house. We arrived and while unloading the Volvo a beer exploded in my face! We were the first to arrive and Ian had made us a delicious chill. We also play Scrabble on Ian's fridge and I explained what a 'Cleveland Steamer is'. Of course the words we all made were very sensible. The other Goons arrived and I got to play a game I had been looking forward to for ages, cards against humanity! I loved it, my new favourite game. Then a water fight broke out and Jordan (NSH) got stuck in the bath! Not the best place to be in a water fight. We all then watched things on Ian's fab tv and went to bed.
In the morning we drove to the ferry to go to the Isle of Wight.
Cred on the map!
10250184_10200906061732553_7307166127541880192_n.jpg

The first cred was Captain Jacks Runaway Train, an SBF Visa Group MX605. I was raining very hard but was quite fab!

+1!

Then we went on some really terrible roads to get to Blackgang Chine, a place I had not visited since 2002.
It was raining rather hard

Sue exited through a small hole.

There was also a singing pet shop

We were all soaked through so decide to find food and get off the island. Once back at the mainland we went to a fair in Southampton, which had a cred but it was too wet to run. Spite.

Clarence Pier was next on the cred hunt!

Speedy Mouse was first, it took a little persuasion to get to ride it but of course we got to.

It wasn't very speedy.

10277653_10200906072452821_7549924095192866384_n.jpg

Was next. It was fab! I really enjoyed it! Very comfortable!

After this we went into a rather rubbish arcade and won enough tickets to get a golf set!
We then returned to Ian's and played guess who? Goon edition, which was fab!
Then it was time to say goodbye to Sue and Peep.

The goons left went to the Harvester for supper and everyone was surprised that I like steak well done.
We then returned to Ian's to play golf and watch his fab tv!

The Next Day
I got to eat another Bell muffin, they are incredible!

First stop of the day was Billing Aquadrome. The area was lovely

Cred!
10250059_10200906074412870_5248165304132820071_n.jpg

We met up with MouseAT, Tom and Son of Tom. Then Smithy arrived and I said hello, nice to put a face to the name!
The cred was ok.
They had rather groovy tokens for the cred

The next stop was Gullivers. I used to have an annual pass for Gullivers when I was little so it was great to go back, very good memories.

After riding the carousel it was time for Crazy Mouse a coaster I have fond memories of.
10155286_10200906074892882_8279817900127760467_n.jpg

It was then time for Python, my favourite coaster until 2006! It was fab, shame it only does one circuit!
Then we did the drop tower, which was also fab!
Silver Mine, the shooter, was up next. It is rather poor especially as my gun didn't work.
The log flume was next, I was in the third boat with Girl Jordan and MouseAt. We laughed a lot as the fat boat struggled to make it round! I have a couple of videos that I'll most likely have to add later.

We didn't see the splash but heard Richard so I guessed it was big!

We then did Runaway Train, which I can remember not enjoying way back as I youngster. I quickly remembered why I didn't like it, vile thing!

Everyone then went their separate ways.

Thank you to everyone who came for being amazing people I had a really fab time! Special thanks to Richard and Darren for driving and a massive special thanks to Ian for both driving and allowing me into his home.
A great weekend!

I love how I've just become 'NHS' now XD

Fab reports guys. I'm loving the video of the flume splash. So fab. Thanks to go all for such a great weekend.

Day 2 started with Mr. Bell ripping the curtains open in his living room waking myself, ATTACKHAMMER and Stone Cold up suddenly :P

BellMuffins™ consumed we embarked on the 2 hour drive north up to Billing Aquadrome in Northampton.

Billing Aquadrome

Billing was basically a quick 10 minute stop for the simple +1. We met up with Peter and Rach in the car park before moving towards the cred which Stone Cold sniffed out in an instant. There, awaiting our arrival was MouseAT, DelPiero and SonOfTom. We bought some tokens and there it was....the cred!

There was an old-skool Twister which I quite fancied trying as I'd only ridden modern ones but we had to leave :/

10245435_10203037734698682_3225932481998791975_n.jpg

As expected the Runaway Train was very much another +1 but I wasn't complaining. Once off a rumour was going round that someone was on the train...not just any someone, a certain someone that many people have been wanting to meet for a very long time. That's right boys and girls, I got the Smithy cred! What a fab moment <3

Alas, it was time to move on. I rode with Darren B to Gulliver's.

Gulliver's MK

We were worried that 12-odd adults weren't going to be allowed in with one child but, thankfully, there was no problem. First up, my first double decker carousel.

10259839_10203037736458726_3006119316000127951_n.jpg

Unfortunately we weren't allowed to go up to the top so we made do with the horses n stuff below. Stone Cold and IFC were clearly buzzing

10253988_10203037737938763_6082525305553868243_n.jpg

First cred was 'Crazy Mouse'.

10171156_10203037739418800_2181355115152069512_n.jpg

It was pretty cool. It was an indoor cred themed to you being a mouse with giant furniture everywhere. It could do with a bit of a dust because everything is covered in the stuff. After a couple of circuits the ride op turned the lights off so just small spotlights shining on the furniture were turned on. It had a nice ambience but in reality it was nothing more than a +1.

We headed straight over to The Python, the third cred of the day (2nd in the park).

10253797_10203037743018890_7605253212700158872_n.jpg

It seemed to have a similar layout, and similar feel to Cliffhanger at Blackgang Chine. Cliffhanger is an I.E. Park Group coaster however, and The Python is a Pinfari.

10294465_10203037744138918_7937821472839350353_n.jpg

Similarly with Cliffhanger I rather enjoyed the Pinfari. It just had something about it that felt a little bit more than a +1.

1012589_10203037747499002_3200583763127828169_n.jpg

Up next was a jumping bean which I think was called simply 'Drop Tower', but I'll happily be corrected on that one.

10153639_10203037747659006_5399422256784563965_n.jpg

I don't know what this guy has done to his trousers

Rather dull to be fair, probably better for the smaller kids the park is aimed at :P

We then had a go on their shooter ride, 'The Silver Mine'. I have never ridden anything so dull and awful. Everything was covered in a thick layer of grime and dust, the guns didn't work and with no score tally I really couldn't see the point in participating anyway. We moved on swiftly.

Ahhh the log flume. Didn't that go well? The biggest of the men which included myself, Stone Cold, Conor, and Darren B all somehow squeezed ourselves into one log. Darren was at the front, inbetween my legs. Behind me was Conor and at the back was Stone Cold. As soon as we got out of the station we sunk straight to the bottom of the flume's channel. This meant instead of the water pushing us round we all had to help the boat round clunk round.

The first drop passed without incident with just a small wave passing over the front splashing Darren's crotch. As we were passing round we were getting increasingly concerned what a drop, over twice as high and which was steeper would do, especially as Conor wasn't really in the boat, just balanced on top or Stone Cold's crotch and my legs. At the base of the drop we grounded and didn't reach the trip to start the chain to pull us up. We tried to pull ourselves forward to no avail. Finally Conor got out and gave us a push. Finally the chain started and we began to climb. I was rather worried of the splash below, stupidly I had my phone with my, if we did flood out, I'd be scuppered. At the bottom a mass of water flooded up and a huge tidal wave over came the front flooding everyone's crotches (Darren the most) leading to much shouting from Stone Cold.

That was certainly an interesting log flume experience. Have some pics of it.

A quick fag break commenced for those who are that way inclined  I looked after SonOfTom while he was picking up sticks. He was saying he wanted 'that cred' and pointing at the third (and final) cred in Gullivers MK, Runaway Train. I noticed the track bent quite significantly as the train went over it. I tried to get in the back with Stone Cold (huehuehue) but it wasn't to be, our legs were just too wide, ATTACKHAMMER it would have to be.

Last ride of the day was by far the biggest pile of **** of the day. Remember the shooter I was telling you about which was the worst thing I'd ridden, well this beat it by a mile. As Stone Cold said, 'How can someone make something this **** and finish thinking they'd done a good job'. The cars were quite fancy.

I sat with a very handsome man ;)

There were a few animated characters moving their heads with some plastic flowers.

Once we were done I ran up some stairs to get a selfie with a princess...as ya do...

I'm the one on the right

After that we decided to call it a day. We left IFC, Darren B, DelPiero and SonOfTom to eat lunch whilst Stone Cold, ATTACKHAMMER, Hot Jordan, Conor and myself left. We said our goodbyes and it was off home we travelled.

It was a really great weekend as these meets always are. 6 new creds taking my Easter total to 20 which isn't bad for me :P thank you to Ian for everything you did, Stone Cold for the travel and everyone else for making it a really really fab weekend! Thanks for reading.

Well I've finally got my few photos online so thought I'd share a few words about the day.

The previous night at Ian's was so much fun, it was just endless entertainment. Jordan's goody bags were awesome and the Jesus cakes were nom. Cards against humanity was brilliant, so glad I finally got to play it. Then the water fight happened and I nearly died laughing when I watched Jordan (of the NHS variety) sat on the edge of the bath and then slowly fell into it and couldn't get back out again. He was then dowsed with lots of water much to all of our amusement.

I tried to capture some of the chaos in a vine... Vine

The next day started with a tasty Bellmuffin. The journey to the ferry was ok but the weather was looking dull. The map on the ferry had a cred...

10290651_10154119950550360_1850494508963040444_n.jpg

Once at the Isle of Wight more driving happened and the clouds decided to let go of the rain. It was set to be an unpleasant one. We first went to grab the cred at Pirates Cove. Due to the unforeseen rain Richard was unprepared so grabbed MouseAT's old fleece which was hiding in Ian's car.

10268499_10154119939195360_684240956539897449_n.jpg

FleeceSC was happy to be near a cred

10171774_10154119939190360_229523804922197857_n.jpg

Jordan didn't approve of the weather

There were no staff near the cred to begin with which was a little worrying but soon enough some guys came over once they saw us goons standing in the rain staring at the cred. They opened it for us and we were soon on and getting a lovely +1 on our counts.

10288766_10154119939395360_6063030671892817806_n.jpg

Back in the cars now we were all soaked we headed onwards to Blackgang chine for the other cred. The weather was only getting worse which is a shame because apparently the park is amazing for just messing about.

This giant has seen things

We paid loads of money to get into the park, spent some time faffing about because rain. We then headed over to Cliffhanger. I sat next to Richard, our seats had formed ponds which we had to sit in and our knees were making friends with the metal poles in front of us. It was going to be a very horrible ride experience but one that would be over fairly quickly. It was actually a decent ride despite our situation, very smooth.

10298882_10154119939830360_5816856244289899311_n.jpg

Upon exiting the ride we bumped into some roaming dinosaurs. We had some fun posing with them.

10325264_10154119940605360_3232787414896156182_n.jpg

We then went through the new Dino trail thing which was actually decent. The devil house thing was amusing, especially trying to get Sue and Rich through the little hole. Amusement was had in some of the other little walkthrough attractions and I'm sure we would have enjoyed them all a lot more in the Sun. Soaking wet we didn't feel like sticking around so hopped back into the cars to find food.

Spoons happened and it was nom. It was then back on the ferry which was quite busy. It was then along the coast a bit to get to Clarence Pier for two more creds. It was now dry outside which helped make the end of the day that bit better. On the way we got distracted by a fairground which may have coasters. To get there we went through a really cool graveyard. The fairground was dead when we got there due to the poor weather. No creds obtained we continued onwards to Clarence.

We obtained ride tokens before getting on Speedy Coaster. We nearly couldn't get on though as the ride op had to go ask his manager's opinion on if a bunch of adults are allowed to ride the kiddy cred. But all was good and another +1 was obtained.

10157406_10154119950540360_8223343723720832015_n.jpg

Skyways was the other coaster at Clarence which was surprisingly good. I found it to be quite smooth and fun, also felt quite long.

Some time was then spent in the arcades, too much money was spent on 2p machines where we won tokens! Even though we all clubbed together we only managed to get a kids golf set, I hope it provided much amusement at Ian's that night.

We all went back to Ian's where we played CF Guess Who which was fun. Sue and I then made our way home after a rather soggy but fun day.

Thanks to everyone for the lolz, liftage and the like.

^ It might have been the two bottles of wine I consumed, but I don't really remember much about The Bell Tower Water Fight of 2014. I think I slured people to keep it out of the lounge and the next thing I remember was NHS Jordan asking for towels. I also remember lying in bed, being bundled and the word "boner" being used. I love having people over to The Bell Tower, I don't really care what people get up to as long as they're enjoying themselves <3
