Ohio State vs Penn State (11/19/11)

Snoo

The Legend
Had a hell of a time going to my favorite team, Ohio State's, last home game of 2011 vs our rival Penn State. I'll go straight to the highlights!

Skull Session.. where the band plays before the game. I have some nice video of it actually.

Aren't we cute?

Coolest thing. The band director will retire after this year, so they performed a special Script Ohio in his honor. As you can tell.. the crowd went nuts.

We did end up losing 20-14.. but I still had a great time and can't wait to return to my lovely Horseshoe for another 105,000 people cheering on the beloved Buckeyes. :D

I saw the marching band video on youtube a couple of days ago (I'm subscribed. I like your what drives us video, by the way!). I am amazed they can walk with tubas!

And there was 105,000 people there? Woah!

Thanks for posting!

As much as I "love" Ohio State, I really want to go to a game there.

Did you see any kids on the Penn State sideline? (Too soon?)

I love the bands in college football, they really do add to the atmosphere.

What happened to the Buckeyes this year? Weren't your guys ranked at 6 at some point last year in the BCS standings?
Good luck in Michigan on Saturday.

Josh: <3 Thanks buddy. Official attendance was 105,441 I believe. It really is an amazing experience, even if you aren't a fan of football.

Tom: Dude, next season, if you want to.. I'm looking to go to Cal or Nebraska.. if you'd WANT to.. I might spot an extra seat and get you in. And kids were everywhere.

CP10: I love TBDBITL.. they are one of my favorites, even if Matt doesn't agree. As for the Bucks.. they lost several starters to injuries and suspensions.. including the starting QB. We did start ranked 16th.. but fell when we lost to Michigan State. We have A LOT of young players playing this year and give it two or maybe three years.. we'll be a force. :D

^ Holy crap! That's alot of people. What is the stadium's maximum capacity?

And yeah, I went to a Bseball game even though I'm not a fan (but the Red Socks <3), my dad loves the Pats so we probably go to Gilette stadium eventually to see a game.

I am applying for jobs anywhere and everywhere, so if I am in a reasonable distance, I might take you up on that offer. My goal is to go to all the "big" college stadiums before I die. Wanting to start that next year.

I see, weren't sure if you lost a few players in the last draft similar to Auburn.
Unlucky in today's game @ Michigan, awesome game though, Denard Robinson looked really good, if it weren't for his 170yds on the ground you guys would have taken that.
I would love to get to a Virginia Tech game, I have been to 4 NFL games but I think college would be a different experience, but living in the UK that's easier said then done. I should probably just be thankful that I can watch the games on TV over here.
