After a heated debate with my mother about whether it's more appropriate to use a fork or spoon to eat macaroni or any other variety of noodles, I decided to consult you guys :p .

I use a fork. Personally, I am appalled that she came into my room to serve me macaroni with a spoon!

For 'proper' stringy noodles (and spaghetti) it has to be a fork. Spoons are just useless for that... :p

For things like Macaroni Cheese though, a spoon can work.

Chopsticks +1

Hang on, isn't macaroni a pasta rather than a rel noodle? Pasta I always eat with a fork. None of this spoon business

Isn't it:

Noodles = Asian

Things like Hokkien Noodles, Ramen, Udon, Soba, Cellophane etc.

Pasta = Italian/European.

Things like Spaghetti, Fettuccine, Macaroni, Fuslli etc.

I mean, if someone said we were going to lunch at a Noodle Bar, I wouldn't expect to find mac and cheese, or spag bol on the menu, would I?

Fork is the answer, irrespective.

BIN is the appropriate option, since they're basically just foreign pasta.
But from a non-biased point of view, we'll go with fork. Even for pot noodles etc. :p

Fork.

But, they're also obviously not a noodle.

Noodles are so much fabber with chopsticks <3 Actual noodles, though, obv.

By that logic, we should also be able to eat with our feet...

And... there's an image you didn't need, right there :)
