Noodle Confoodle?!?!?

Some of you may have noticed that there's a new Potted Noodle snack in town.

Golden Wonder have launched "The Nation's Noodle", in all the same flavours Pot Noodle have.

There is some irony here, in that Golden Wonder originally developed Pot Noodle, but after being bought out, Unilever took the Pot Noodle brand then sold Golden Wonder on.

So now, there's a battle of the pots!

Have you seen the new Nation's Noodles? If so, what do you think. Which is the real Nation's Noodle?

Whichever is cheaper. All these things are made with the same crap. Half a bucket of salt and some sweetner.

Pot Noodles are still nice, but not as nice now due to them trying to be part of this crazy fad for less salt and artificial stuff, I DONT GIVE A **** AS LONG AS IT TASTES NICE

Pierre.. Erm they taste like crap! In the time it takes to boil a kettle, pour in the water and leave it to "soak", I can make one from scratch using real chicken and vegetables. Honestly!

Well, the Nation's Noodles were rank to be honest. About half a bit of sweetcorn and a soya chicken toenail! The noodles are round and flaky. The whole thing was just "not as nice" as Pot Noodle.

Fail! (Like a Tay sized fail if you can't even be as nice as a nasty pot snack).

All these ready meals are crap. I've had them once, never again.
Call me a snob, but theres nothing like home cooking when you can.

In all seriousness, Mr. Noodles are awesome, and I'm guessing that is basically the same as Pot Noodle or whatever you folks call it.

I once wrote a letter of complaint to Pot Noodle as one Chicken & Mushroom flavoured pot I had didn't have a soy sauce inside.

Not that it mattered because I don't add the soy sauce anyway but that wasn't the point.

They sent me a letter of apology and a £3 voucher.

I've not had one since but sold the voucher to a work college for £2.50.

Pot Noodle is home cooking!

The original, Japanese Cup Noodles are the best anyway. You get loads of noodles in them, not just a couple of mouthfuls and a load of brown water with floaty polystyrene bits.

After seeing the Donner Kebab Pot Noodle and being terrifyed of it I'm going to say.
