Non-Realistic

Does anybody here actually build rides that are non-realistic and otherwise would just not be safe? but build them just for the fun of it?

and link your projects if you do. ill link some of my unreasonable woodies later tonight.

Yup, Vertigo Jump was just an experiment in seeing how interesting I could make elements.

I'm working on an Inverted Intamin Giga coaster that launches into a 305ft tall immelman. I'm not sure how unrealistic that is to you

I used to, years ago. Best way to get the hang of the editor when you're first starting out.

Not so much anymore though. I find it a bit amateurish tbh, as most 'unrealistic coasters' end up having no effort actually put into the track, becoming more of a redundant folly.

Snobbism out of the way, if a coaster is built unrealistically in terms of speed, height and cost to build, BUT built in a realistic way (with supports that would work in theory, and keeping the G forces intact), you could make a good coaster.

Unfortunately most of them end up just being wastes of hard drive space.

If I come up with a ride that's unrealistic, I try to make it as realistic as possible.

The one ride I tried to make a while back with a 15,000+ft. track length and a 500ft. max height was fur sure unrealistic.
