Never heard of / seen The Onion, so I'm gonna have to go with the Colbert Report, even though I am not keen on either to be honest.

Well The Onion is quite funny, even though the first time i saw their "news" I thought it was real. But the Colbert Report is good too. To me though, I say they're about equal.

I've not seen the Colbert report whatever.

The Onion is highly amusing, well what I've seen of it anyway.

The Daily Show is amusing, but only if you know about American politics.
