I don't think this has ever been posted here.
I only just found it, but I thought it may be of interest to anyone who likes the old fairgrounds. This site is basically the base for the title group...
They are based in Sheffield University and you can even go and visit to look through the archives etc, but that is for research purposes and so on.
Anyways, this site documents a great deal of the history of great British (and some others) made flat rides throughout the last century, right up to the modern machines we still see at funfairs now.
A brilliant resource if you like looking at this kind of thing.
