Mumbo Jumbo & Slammer Restraints

Mega Poster
Well, for some reason, when I ride Mumbo Jumbo and/or Slammer, the ride operators close the restraints very tight to my shoulders. Now, I see this picture and both kids have the shoulder restraints without touching their shoulders: http://www.engineeringexcitement.com/rides/coasters/el-loco (fourth picture). Is it dangerous to ride it like that and not having them VERY tight, or is it just Thorpe's/Flamingoland's evil ride operators?

The shoulder restraints aren't MEANT to be tight, and at Thorpe the announcement even says to have them just lightly resting on your shoulders. It hurts when they are tight, and the lap bar is the main thing keeping you in anyway.

So, the ops are just being mean and those kids are fine. Sadly. Cause kids are ****.
