In Merlin's latest newsletter they advertised a n exclusive passholder event on the 21st October.

Does anyone have any more info about this?

They don't give you much details about it do they. What have they done to make it different?

This is true, but then you guys up North have Alton, and surely quality is better than quantity!

Alton isn't really in the north, it's more midlands and across the UK as a whole it's a well into the southern half of the country. It is the highest quality and is around two hours away from me which is OK, but I think they could have put a similar event on at York as well?

Lies, it's all lies I tell you! Anything north of the Watford Gap is Scotland!!

Of course Merlin are going to be southern biased, their HQ is in Poole, Dorset, so it's easier for them! Besides, with the majority of Merlin attractions being in the south, that's where the majority of the Merlin Pass holders are likely to be.

Although I do agree, there is no harm in having the same event in York or Edinburgh.

I won't be attending this event. Travelling to/from the centre of London on a Thursday evening doesn't appeal.

And Mysterious Sue, the north is anything above the M4.

Nah, I like it here. Even if I had the money to live anywhere, I wouldn't move away from Hampshire.
