Merlin annual pass

I'm not sure if there is a topic on this already, however i did not come across one.

Does anyone have any information about cheap Merlin annual passes? I'm not looking to spend anything over £100 though (Bad times). I live in Blackpool so would be a handy thing to have for those boring days. I have not been to thorpe since 2008 either, and would love a pass card to Alton.

They've done a sale in January for a few years running now where you can pick up a standard pass for under £100, or a Premium one for about £120. You buy it in January online, but the pass is valid a year from when you pick it up, not from when you bought it.

Or, as Joey said, Tesco Vouchers are the other option most people go for. You'll have to spend something like £3k in Tesco to get enough vouchers for one though! (easily possible if you get fuel/insurance/credit card e.t.c. from them too)

I notice that Merlin now allow you to provide a photo online and have an annual pass mailed out to you. With Dan being in Blackpool it's not a big deal as I suspect he'll just pick up the pass from one of the Blackpool attractions, but for those of us who don't live near anything Merlin it makes buying passes during the off season a lot more practical, especially if you don't know which park you'll be visiting first.

Just an FYI for anyone who intends to take advantage of the off-season deals in the future.

Aye living in Blackpool does have some advantages I guess. I wish Merlin would take over the pleasure beach. One of my friends who has a pass mentioned something about maybe getting a full 50% off one.

Well about a week on and I now have a standard pass. My friend who works for Blackpool council. managed to get a standard one for £127.50 =) very happy now!!!

At the moment there is a 10% discount on the full price passes but if you do the pay monthly thing it's full price.
