Started working on this last week. I've got a basic layout that i'm more or less happy with, it may get a few tweaks though.

No loops, but one over banked corner at about 135 degrees, a couple of nice bumps of airtime, and lots of Gs.

in it's current form it pulls 4.8 Gs off the first drop and 4.5 on two of the helix's, and pulls between 3 and 4 Gs regularly on other drops/corners.

Currently there is no supports, some rough corners and a couple of sharp angles with spikes in Gs.

Next steps is to smooth it, maybe work on the small section after the second break run and final breakrun... but im not sure, its a nice smooth helix, followed by a quick, high G corner before the final break run.

okay the first thing I noticed, the lift/ launch hill is curved, I'm not sure how new you are to NL, but all you need to do to fix it is select the segment and press "I". You also might want to split it up into 3 segments, segment 1 inclines, segment 2 is the middle portion, and segment 3 levels out. This makes it smoother.

Naw, using the triangle track similar to Intamin's rides like Rita and Stealth.

I've not really got it following design styles of any companies or any traditional layout styles. I just wanted something fast, smooth and full of airtime and Gs.

Yep cheers, when i'm working on the smoothing/straightening ill be starting from the station and working my way round each segment.

All I have to say is ouch right now.. :?

if you are going to critique try a and critique on what you can see, I'm assuming it's smooth, and I will until I can see other wise.

As I said in the original post, there are some very sharp spikes in g-forces (especially on the back seat) but they are not frequent.

One thing, what video capture could I use for it..? I cant use the ingame one as my keyboard doesn't have a numpad (macbook). Unless there is a way of reassigning keys...

Nevermind.. never checked the controls section in the options *facepalm*

I've removed the second brake run and edited that set of corners, the coaster was traveling about 25mph throughout that section, which i thought was a bit slow and dull for the end of it.

Instead i've added a 270degree turn, which is over banked partway, followed by a steep drop, 2.8Gs and then onto the brake run.

Looks to me like that is just wasting speed. If you've got a bit drop like that it's not really going to flow if it just slams straight into the brakes.

couldn't be bothered! It was quicker to upload...

Also goodjob I did upload it.. I made a major change and ran the simulator without backing up the original save. Really goofed the ride!
