I really don't get them either. I never rode the one in Amsterdam, but couldn't tell much of a difference between the one in Finland and other spinners. Yeah, they're supposed to tilt around the corners to give riders the feeling that they will fall out of the cars, but that tilting is minimal at best and nothing like say the swaying of the carts on Disney's Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Of course I only rode Tulireki once and was filming at the time, but the same thing goes for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
I honestly didn't realise until now what this thing was. And no, you definitely don't notice the tilting whilst riding. All you seem to notice is that it's a bit rough and a bit ****.
Yeah, imagine a wild mouse with tilting action and you'll get the idea. I've been on two - the one at Linannananannanamakki and Amsterdam Dunge. Both were lame.
Of course, the best wild mouse with a tilting action is the one at Blackpool. Why bother trying to rework something that has been a proven classic for nearly 60 years.
